I think that mining stocks getting hit on every mini rally lately foxy22 and dow futures well down again is not helping .

I used to find that it is emotionally difficult to sell and not cut loss simply
because we always think it will suddenly reverse at moment we sell. It is why Iprefer to trade and not hold stocks although it does not always pay off when in a bull market - but it is far from that now . FXPO now on or just below chart support and could fall to about 160 in due course . maybe sell half but probably a better bet is to wait for a bounce to about 198 or 199 to exit . So hard to know what to do and I might be completely wrong and you might make a better decision than me . good luck whatever you decide to do and of course DYOR .

be careful with FXPO as near the 183 chart support level and iron ore price off a bit
in last few days . I have not traded much recently but have got it wrong . I am sticking to trading indices now as much safer .

you mean 225 and it might be smart to sell then. I now think the DOw did a double top
and possibly much more downside in markets. Looking to short an aussie stock tonight if I can keep awake for an hour after 11pm !Dow futures well down from wednesday close sadly

it is not easy at present and I am unable to make much . Almost certain thata good day for mining stocks will be followed by a bad one . Copper price up a bit today and KAZ was doing OK but now retreating . Iron ore price don a bit but strange that FXPO has fallen so much and AAL as you say . Yes, cable up a cent and a bit after brexit announcement . brexit gloom not helping most stocks as UK future is bad if brexit happens

bearish on cable foxy22 BUT , if a PV eventuates, it would quickly reverse direction
and that seems quite likely with impasse in parliament . yes, US tech stocks have gone up without a breather and most trading on very high p/e ratios and any disappointing results will stop them in their tracks temporarily anyway .

I see FXPO recovered well and KAZ too after the sell off - wish I had gone for KAZ as copper price held up quite well ! ( smile )

sorry to hear that foxy22. How do you trade US stocks ? with a CFD for example .
markets extremely shaky but hopefully a PV and a vote to stay in the EU ( I HOPE ) will improve things in the future . I am just trading FX today

surprisingly FXPO turned around. so hard to read stock lately i find and am jost trading the russell 2000 and GBP/AUD at times foxy22. KAZ did well as expected

sorry FTSE . I make typing errors when trying to do 2n things at same time .Re Aston, SOR is just an ausie expression for opposite of NOR ( no overhead resistance ). So just means that no chart support level and is dangerous although not to say it can not
suddenly reverse direction. Hope it does that foxy22. FXPO and KAZ look as if might bounce further on monday . So many shares at low for the year such as builders and some banks.

No arja i didnt only 25% of it,because it bounced temporarily on brexir dsy and i did not expect it to tumble results were okMaybe its a brexit casualty...Where did u say it could drop to?

hi foxy22- thanks for comment on the Russell 2000 . It tend to more or less move with
the DOw but deviates a bit. this brexit nonsense is really affecting Uk market and quite a plunge in TTSE after being well up early on- I just got home after seeing the physio. Yes, LAZ and FXPO have done well today but might be profit taking later asb it is a friday . In 5 minutes, there will be figures from USA . have a good weekend
