doesn't a share go up when people buy and there are more buyers than sellers and it goes down when there are more sellers than buyers or you have a seller?

Might be crazy but perhaps this is the reason....

Paul - call DR yourself - permits announced on next news. Stop speculating and make an effort to talk with the management.

3rd P&D attempt in few weeks, seems they are so desperate for funding, while mining permits not happening anytime soon. Will take RD comment in email above with a pinch of salt, that if it wasn't a fabricated email in first place.

Steve will be sadly missed in more ways than one. I deeply regret we did not get together when I was there.

We enjoyed many years of banter, emails and a few phone calls. I could never get angry with Steve as I do with most people,

I knew he was ill but never knew just how bad he was and it brought a tear to my eye to find that he died alone.

We are all but ships that pass in the night never taking the time nor the concern to love our fellow man as we really should........Steve was one of life's gentle people.

Gone but believe me never forgotten RIP my friend!

I had a look at LSE and incidentally there seems to be someone who shared an email from DR fwiw. Also good to read some more tributes to Steve btw, seems also on there he was very respected and one person had even visited him in Cyprus.

Jon

Thanks for the email and my apologies for the silence. It has been the most
bizarre and frustrating experience with regards the mining permit. It is in
everyones interest to get it granted and get going, it seems Togo is not
quite there with its understanding of international mining alas. Having said
that, we have not been sitting idle as we realised a long time ago that if
we rely on others, you can get horribly burnt. As such, all I can say is
watch this space closely in the next short while and I hope you will be
happy with the end result, I know I am.

Regards

Dave

To all who've commented and pm'd on Cyprus Steve thanks, and I've passed on to his close friend and best man at his wedding who thanks on behalf of the family. The funeral was Monday in Cyprus, post mortem said weak heart failed, he was also due a nasty op for a painful back prob which he didn't fancy but never moaned about. Life's a bit emptier.
Simonparker that's eerie, he was found in bed that day by a neighbour, I don't know what time, you were obviously a friend.

paleje can I ask where you heard this news. Tonight is the first I have come across this. I knew Steve very well having emailed and chatted on the phone to him many times. I visited him a few years back. A decent and sensitive guy who will very much be missed.
The sad thing for me is that I have just checked my phone and he tried calling me 9.27 on Friday the 23rd and I wasn't able to take his call. I emailed him later in the day but he never replied.
A great guy, RIP my friend you will be missed.

Paleje, I've just returned from holiday and really shocked to hear about Steve. I've known him about 7 years but did not get to know any of the family. Really sad to hear the news, thank you for passing that on.

paleje, I am actually shocked to hear that, I have been reading Steve's regular contributions since he recommended BEM somewhere in 2010 and had the occasional discussion with him on advfn threads throughout the years. I believe he posted last on this thread only last month. Must have been something very sudden then I can only surmise.

Trouble is Jag, and I've seen plenty of DR's predictions, is that he's not very good at them. He used to communicate quite a bit with Cyprus Steve, nothing insider but indicators on how things were going, and they never came out the way he thought, I know he's well intentioned but he misjudges. Anyway lets hope he's really got something this time.

Cyprus Steve btw, for those who knew him, passed away a week last Friday he was a regular contributor to several boards not a ramper or deramper just s decent bloke passing opinion.
