Indeed it would, Count - but I am not sure what DR can issue until the Togo license is issued - and that is totally out of his hands.
Any other plans for deals / finance etc, are highly unlikely to be completed without the Togo license being granted first of all in my view.

Hi Steve, trust all is well. We have all been here for a while now waiting patiently. Lets all hope that we get things moving soon before more funds would be required to keep the company afloat.

Nothing new in the links above, but for those researching FRX for the first time, the excellent track records of the BOD leading to previous massive TO's and their personal high shareholdings are indicative.
News on Togo and possible deals must surely be close.
Market cap still only £6m.

DR has no clue on when the permit will come, if it will ever come this year. should he be bothered at all? Nah, maybe saves him some free time to align the coming placing, come on Beaufort raise'em some keep'em bleed, and do your job

Agreed sashimi, DR must have some idea of when the permit is due but would be very reluctant to announce it as there is no guarantee his time scale would be met. Would have thought Togo would be very keen to get it underway for the local economy/employment etc.
There is also the question of economic viability given the colapse in commodity prices.
All we can do is sit,hope and pray there is lots going on in the background that will be to the companies advantage.

I have been here for quite a while and had expected news to come at an earlier stage of the year. Considering the news flow a few months ago from the company, things seemed to be round the corner. However this has proved me wrong. I appreciate that as things stand we are the mercy of government approval, so not much management can do right now. I do hope though that we get some feedback from the company some time soon.

Paul,

You tell us, you're meant to be psychic after all? Licence grant is required for the funding, once they have the funding then they can reveal the DFS, most can have a good guess at the DFS anyway as they've highlighted the amount of manganese already. So I guess its just Euro football results that you can do then.

Edgein, as you posted and as the rns stated, funding is the key (not the license grant), how much needed and at what discounted price it will be raised?!!Surely the ~900k sold at 0.37 wouldn't make mm feels short here, whilst they are busy forward selling the shares yet to be issued.You got to calm, think, and don't feel pumped up like Cameron pre elections

I do find Pauls recent interest in FRX interesting to say the least ie placing on its way a dead cert apparantly, yet it's 20% up now. Let's see if it holds.

"The DFS exploring the viability of a 250,000 tonne per annum ("tpa") 38% manganese product operation was further advanced during the reporting period, and as announced in May 2015, has now been completed. Negotiations over the Mining Convention, which outlines the fiscal, environmental and social issues governing the Company's and Togolese Government's commitments to each other were finalised as announced in March 2015. This was a highly positive milestone as it clears the way for issue of the Mining Permit, which is expected to happen soon after the appointment of the new Prime Minister and Ministers now that the Presidential elections are complete. Discussions with several parties over funding the capital costs for construction of the Nayega mine are underway and projected to continue with due diligence evaluation and field visits in the next reporting period.

Unless news come soon it seems that it could indeed slip further unfortunately as of since the last post on 28.08.15 the bulls are nowhere to be seen bar that 100k traded today when the MM dropped the offer. I notice a bit of flashing about on L2 up and down soon after that. News is needed one way or the other or it may die a slow death.

You may or may not be correct Paul but if that was the case I would have expected a few RNS on other matters just to keep the share price higher before any placing. The last imo was the last, as other avenues exist. I am happy to hold this even though I am underwater on it but I accept the risks.

bottom fishing? that's not the bottom, 0.45p would be the top when a huge discounted placing comes.directors take salary for doing nothing, apart from having some sunny trips, while they just wait as shareholders. then they go for more and more discounted placing as they are only interested in keeping their positions and salaries.they don't give a sh.t about dilution as it doesn't affect their income (salary)here is the plan:1- arrange (not announce) a huge discounted placing, let's say 0.2p just before license grant2- rns the license grant and let the punters buy it to push the price up3- shortly after announce the placing once the broker forward sold the placing shares to puntersseen it many many times that I stopped counting it, just a matter of time now to see it here
