Nuuvera is up 1%

Considering how bad the markets are across the pond that is some kind of result.

Looks like the late drop and panic selling on Friday was maybe down to the sharp drop
in Nuu in Canada, however after the market had shut here the price of Nuu rallied strongly from 5.25 low to close around 6. Then you have the combination of the company buying stock. Well if they were happy to pay 18-20p they must surely be happy to pay 17.25p if they can get some size.

The investment in NUU has created real tangible and realisable gains for FFWD. I suspect we will see this value continue to increase. It has demonstrated that FFWD can do what they said they would do. There is every prospect that we will see at least 2 other investments produce similar or indeed better returns in the near future. This has a good chance of being one of the best performing shares of 2018.

Mealiff you and most other people on aim haven't seen what's going on in the cannabis industry in Canada over the last few weeks. Since the turn of the year there has been over $2 billion worth of cannabis deals, which is nearly quadruple the total of 2017 as a whole—which itself was a record.

Aph/nuu IMO will get taken out by a global conglomerate before the summer, if you think Ffwd have done well so far with the Aphria deal, just wait to see that return. The cannabis industry (medical & recreational) is going to be bigger than the alcohol or tobacco industry.

tbh , I find this quite strange with the speed of APH bid for NUU after the IPO .

Plenty of time for a counterbid for NUU.

It certainly gives me a lot of more confidence for the rest of the investments here.

I liked them from the beginning but it is very difficult sometimes to gauge the value or increase thereof, of these companies when they are rather distant.
Visibility is more difficult.
Just goes to show what can happen and Yooya Factom seem to have enormous potential to me.

I get FFWD 3.4% stake of the 826mil $ is around 28.4mil $ or 20mil£ at todays exchange rate, not including a % of the shares offered. No wonder he's grinning from ear to ear during the interview, that's whopping deal for himself!!!

That trade was over a month ago, surely the late TR-1 is a form of breach considering the sale was of 5% of the company shares.

Yes, if the dealer knows you want to buy in large qty which FFWD can do, ie 25% of average daily volume, then the mm can try to drop the price to get stock for the buy order. He gets his money either way.
I also believe that the RNs today showing a sell of about 5% of the company has been holding the price back.
Just my thoughts.. could be wrong.

"I think that the share buy back scheme is artificially keeping the price low"

in what way can a buy order (irrelevant as to the price) keep a price low ? - if there was no sahre buy back are you saying it'd be higher ?

Kristin 2, any shares FFWD buy they put into a treasury account to be cancelled at a later date.

What a great deal they've made. Initial stake $3million. Deal gives us our money back plus a little over a million shares in Aphria.
Expect these to be sold shortly. ~$25 million return. What's our current MCAP? Add on ~ £4million for Leap.
