shame that various commentators and so called famous investors missed out on the huge profits in Biohaven/Portage, FastForward and Nuveera . sad losers.

My thoughts on the buyback were that this should encourage the price to rise , but I think they (FFWD) have probably got a buy order in at a set price range so the mms may be keeping the price to that level to get the trades?
Might be wrong , but otherwise the share would just keep rising.

I personally haven't noticed a great deal of difference with buybacks.
The sentiment is reassuring.

For me it is about intrinsic value in each of the separate entities going forward.

Intrigued by the intraday price action initial flurry. Can anyone explain how the buybacks might impact short term ? Apart from a floor at say under 18p. If we get further newsflow do you think the targets will be reached at higher prices or be scaled back. Maybe you've seen similar elsewhere ?

The second RNS today announcing the extension of the share buyback says that it is because in the DIRECTORS opinion the current share price significantly undervalues the underlying value of the Company’s investment portfolio. This is particularly due to the recent listing of NUU and the positive developments across the company’s portfolio in 2017. You can’t get a more positive hint than this that this company is very undervalued and is destined to do very well.

They will have a lot more cash when the sale of Leap Gaming completes. It will be very interesting to see how the BOD reinvest the resulting capital. They have done exceptionally well with their investment decisions so far, so high hopes for what comes next.

The buy back makes it very clear that they don’t need cash. This suggests that they are confident their investments are going to do very well and will provide any cash that is required. A very positive situation as far as I am concerned.

Ball park around £500k cash left. They originally said they would buy back up to 6.9 Million shares and actually bought back just under 900,000. This time they said they would buy back up to 3.4 Million

Anyone know how much spare cash FFWD have kicking around in total (up to 3.4M more shares to be bought back by the end of Feb - dwarfing the initial SBBP).
