25/11/2017 03:54 | Didn't see this before re: Factom. My bold and underlined parts look encouraging. With the launch of Factom Harmony in March 2017, Factom has seen a significant demand from the market, leading to a need for a more expansive leadership team. As President, Kirby will continue to lead the product roadmap for Factom, allowing companies to securely share and verify digital assets. This product revolutionizes the way companies collaborate and interact because Factom Harmony reduces costs for third party audits, due diligence and compliance reviews of data or documents in complex transactions. Then there is also this that was posted on the LSE BB: You need to click on the upper text from Paul Snow to enlarge and see his comments. | lauders
24/11/2017 10:55 | Nuuvera (avanti) advertising posistions that require knowledge of EU GMP. Remind me again why we are in Germany targeting the EU market | jonesyboy 27
24/11/2017 09:59 | Bill - indeed this is great news for Factom. Factom has to be the most promising investee in the FFWD portfolio in my view. Nuuvera is right up there too. I can see the NAV appreciating well in 2018. | bdog51
24/11/2017 09:42 | More good news for Factom. hxxps://www.reddit.c | biggest bill
23/11/2017 11:32 | I wouldn't presume to have you waste your time when I can just go to the charts and see for myself. It must be possible though, as volume is available in the header of, for example, the OPTI thread. Maybe some wise soul on here knows how this is done? | dietcoke197
23/11/2017 11:00 | Ex Director Stephen Dattels has sold 900k, as per TR-1 today. Explains the sells and the lack of rise despite the buyback. | bdog51
22/11/2017 18:48 | I don't think I can do that dietcoke as the header charts are set up by ADVFN. I can post a daily chart on this thread at the end of trading each day if you would like me to do that. | doodlebug4
22/11/2017 18:18 | DB4. Is there any chance of getting volume in the header charts? | dietcoke197
22/11/2017 15:36 | Not sure if Ffwd have started thebuy back yet - all the larger buys from 12.29 to 12.45 ish are mine. Hoping for a good rise up to and incl Dec 28th!! | cumbrian2
22/11/2017 14:30 | I see the spread on the bid/offer has increased quite a bit. %#*@^& mm's! Really dislike large spreads as makes investors more careful of buying IMO. Good recovery on the dip for two days running, so obviously the sales are being bought. FFWD buybacks? | lauders
22/11/2017 08:54 | cheers Lauders | monkeymonkey
22/11/2017 05:06 | From the update provided by FFWD: Nuuvera and Mira anticipate closing the Transaction in late December, 2017. So all we can say is LATE December if we are lucky and all goes well. My bold! | lauders
22/11/2017 03:48 | quick question anybody know the date in December of Nuuvera IPO, thanks | monkeymonkey
22/11/2017 00:38 | I'm sure they didn't invest a large sum of capital and wait all this time just to break even?! I am sure you are correct bdog51. However, when I invested some time ago I did not imagine that I would only just be in profit now many many months later than anticipated. So those investors may also be thinking about moving their money to other places that have produced a better return while their money was tied-up here and making a loss. It really is up to the BOD to keep the momentum going now and so news from Yooya (dead for too long IMO) and Factom in the main would be very welcome. The half year figures on 28 December 2017 will be VERY interesting. Not sure about the timing though. Suppose they have to release then but a new year release when everyone is back from the Xmas/New Year break would be more preferable surely? | lauders
21/11/2017 22:22 | I did wonder if there might be resistance at around 15p as that's break even for those who took part in the previous placing. However, I would expect those placing shares to be in safe hands and not flipped, especially if they understand the potential here. I'm sure they didn't invest a large sum of capital and wait all this time just to break even?! | bdog51
21/11/2017 22:14 | Doodlebug - I have no idea of the price range at which they will be buying these shares. However, if they are still buying the shares back after the Nuuvera IPO then I would expect the share price to be somewhat higher than 13p. They are committed to buying the 5.9 million shares by 19 Jan 2018 so will have to pay the market price which prevails at the time. Leap disposal and any other investee news in next couple of months could also affect the buying price. Presumably they have a limited budget for the buyback Eg 13p X 5.9 million = £767,000 but I would expect them to pay a higher average than that. Oh well, time will tell. I have to admit that I'm not great at predicting future share prices! | bdog51
21/11/2017 18:04 | Would anyone care to have a stab at speculating the share price price of the buy back - bearing in mind that it's going to be funded from existing cash resources? | doodlebug4
21/11/2017 17:09 | TW trying to avert total disaster, is what that's called. | jonesyboy 27
21/11/2017 16:08 | That article was out yesterday. Seems share muppets have done a complete U-turn on FFWD then. So much for their credibility and consistency of views. Plus they've failed to mention the share buyback which was also major news yesterday. | bdog51
21/11/2017 11:15 | Presumably the board will have a price at which they are prepared to enter the market. I expect that attempts will be made such as today, to discover exactly where that floor is. | dietcoke197
21/11/2017 01:12 | "We just have to trust the BoD", that's the conundrum as far as I'm concerned.:-) Not only you DB4! I can imagine there are many others with similar thoughts, me for one! If we can get above the placing price of 15p and remain there for any period of time it will be a big positive for me. I can see that being a long term ceiling as frustrated holders who were expecting better things and more communication from the BOD sell into any rises. If the newsflow continues and all goes well in late December with the Nuuvera listing as well as positive news on the offer for Frallis LLC ("Leap Gaming") then we might all be much happier at the start of 2018. Just need that news from Yooya (disappointed there was no update at all on them!) and Factom to get things really interesting around here. | lauders
20/11/2017 17:27 | Agree accountant :The buyback will increase the value of the shares by reducing the number of outstanding shares by around 5% and so increasing NAV by 5%. Surely it would be more beneficial to invest it in a new investment or into a larger stake of one of the pf. Buybacks are normally seen as a lazy option. Not complaining about today’s gains but was actually hoping for a lot more. Early days yet still lots more to come | leeb100
20/11/2017 16:51 | "We just have to trust the BoD", that's the conundrum as far as I'm concerned.:-) | doodlebug4
20/11/2017 16:46 | I don't know either ! I can understand them thinking the share price is on the low side - especially before today's rise. However, if the profits outlined in post 7797 are anywhere near right then buying in to the placement would seem the better alternative. I guess we just have to trust the BoD. | the accountant |
