This is absolutely pathetic by the market makers. The maximum I can buy online is 1000 shares. I don't think anybody wants to sell at this price and who can blame them. If the market makers want some stock, they will have to raise the price much more than this.

It's been hard to buy in any quantity this morning but you can sell as many as you like. I assume the market makers are short of stock. Right now, I can't buy any at all.

"A large bank" and "a large insurance company" are really telling us a lot LOL. Would be nice to know names but again no doubt sensitive information.

In the meantime Les from DB Co., is still sticking to his word and paying attention to the company's website more these days. He just added a blog.

More to come he says. Sometimes pestering CEOs does work. Shame this does not apply to Lorne who continues to ignore any reasonable contact. DB Co., may not be as bad an investment as some, especially TW, think.

The shareholding in Factom is now worth enormously more than they paid for it. I expect a huge amount of buying on Monday morning. I'm glad I topped up last week after the results were announced.

Factom blockchain latest -

2017 Cyber Security R&D Showcase and Technical Workshop held on 11 Jul 2017 - Factom Blockchain plugin for tamperproof 'internet of things'

"This is the first confirmation that a large bank (and large insurance company) are actually customers of Factom. Before now, it was only known that they were in negotiations. So this is a pretty big deal."

"Factom is preparing for some big stuff!"

Have followed AGL a bit and heard about DIS moormoney. As you say a bit of fizz is likely. Hope we will have some fizz from FFWD one of these days. A bit "flat" at the moment. Someone needs to shake hard and see if we can get some reaction. Good luck with your selections, hope they come good.

Interesting picks to check out thanks. I have recently added AGL,ZEN, DIS, to my holdings plus BLU (topped up four times and looking very good). Hoping they will add a bit of fizz to my investments!

Since you asked zangdook and the market is closed so you should all be asleep in the UK here goes:

Off-topic (mostly)

Health/Wealth Warning: Following unknown people on public bulletin boards may not be a good idea so treat the following with extreme caution.

I believe (could be completely wrong) that these companies (holdings disclosed, so I am biased as you would expect on some of them) will do better than FFWD in the short term and possibly long term unless the BOD of said company pull all the stops out:

HOC 268p offer (my largest holding by far): Debt reducing, if the economies of the world start to unwind and the switch to safe havens of silver and gold come into play will be positive for the company. Another recent opinion (admittedly from TMF, so always cautious of their opinions) -

SDX 46p offer (second largest holding): No debt, more gas related than oil but recent market update has knocked them back a lot as latter was disappointed with numbers. Can sell gas into local Egyptian market and also in Morocco and CEO bought 50,000 shares yesterday. It may take a little time to recover back to its recent highs but longer term this is one to watch. Malcy also likes them and are included within his "bucket list". and also

BVXP 1900p (hold): Most people I know who hold shares in this company rate it as a long term hold. Management are excellent, have barriers to entry so competition find it hard to compete, the tropinin arrangement with Siemens that is about to start looks like it will replace the income that is disappearing from another area of their work and so I think it should do well long term.

PTSG 118p offer (DO NOT HOLD): Looks a well managed company. Winning a lot of work & they are one I have had my eye on for a while. Would like to buy at some point but probably have too much in the first two companies mentioned above.

DOTD 71p offer (DO NOT HOLD): Another well run company that I would like to acquire some shares in one of these days.

I am sure you can do more research yourself on any of the above but those are the ones I like (wrongly or rightly) and I hold three of them. There are others like ITV (hold), FENR (hold), MSLH (hold) that I like too and that should be no surprise or I wouldn't be holding them ;-) I also like FDEV (DO NOT HOLD) but they have gone up significantly this year already. Picked them at the start of the year in a competition. Also picked W7L (DO NOT HOLD) and they had a really strong run up till June but have now come off the boil a bit. Not sure about them so much now.

There we are, some ideas. It will be interesting to see what happens to the five I included current offer prices for going forwards and see how they fair versus FFWD in the short (6 months) to longer term.

If the market crashes then of course everything will probably suffer. Some may weather better than others. Not sure how FFWD would do as they have been knocked back quite a bit as it is, but without positive newsflow they will likely be smashed into the low single figures too?

EDIT - SDX CEO actually purchased 85000 shares yesterday. Even better! ;-)

Another rise today of 5% on low volume of 179000. If we can start to see some higher volume as news approaches we should see some significant rises.

Small rise of 4% today has turned this share so it is pointing in the right direction.
Let's hope this continues tomorrow.

Strange as it may be I actually think Ivor has a point and again strange as it may be I think 888 defends the overpaid and shareholder unfriendly Lorne far too much. Look at the disastrous share price action since before results until today. If shareholders are happy with this then it seems a bit odd to me. Sure you can all pick-up FFWD shares cheaper now but it would be better to be nearer the 15p level with plenty of positive vibes coming from the company than UNDER 10p with "disclaimer statements" that get the BOD off without providing newsflow.

Yes, 888 we all know you are probably correct and we should all just buy and wait several years. However while you wait what will you miss out on tying your cash up. Might be worth an experiment to pick a company or two that investors here think will do well and compare the progress compared with FFWD in the short and long term just to see what happens. I could name a few that will probably do better but then again I could be completely wrong.

Update on PulseFlow - Seems that Les pays more attention to investors than Lorne. As he promised he has now added a news section to the company's website. He said more would be added in future.

They never had a news page until I suggested his company should be more professional and follow other company websites.

The whole point of FFWD is to buy into unlisted investments that you couldn't otherwise buy. You then have to wait for an event to crystallise value. I have no doubt that most of the investments are doing very well and are worth a lot more tha FFWD paid but accounting rules don't allow this to be reflected in the NAV.
I am happy with my investment in FFWD and also my investment in BLU.

I'm sorry,8881, but I think that's wishful thinking. You might not like TW and he might well be a pizza salesman, but FFWD' investments have gone nowhere fast. No amount of spin can change that fact. Incidentally I invested in Blue Star Capital which now owns FFWD's stake in SatoshiPay picked up for very little - and have doubled my money in same the time that FFWD's share price has languished at 10-11p. I would sell FFWD but I prefer not to sell at a loss.
I bought FFWD some time ago thinking that it would provide a route into really exciting high tech investments which I normally could not access. What have I got? A rag bag of mostly unsaleable investments. Not good.

You are correct Ivor that most people would not even bother to read something from that discredited pizza salesman TW. I would suggest you do likewise if you wish to be taken seriously. Read the last RNS about the results. If you have any understanding of the investments made by FFWD and how they have to be dealt with by accounting rules you would realise why the NAV has gone nowhere. Value in relation to unlisted investments can only be recognised when an event occurs such as the sale of the investment in Satoshipay.
We are waiting for events in relation to our other investments and you can form your own view as to whether they are worth more than their purchase price. Also our board cannot control the timing of these events so it is wrong to criticise for something they cannot control. There is nothing for shareholders to revolt about but if you are a shareholder and are unhappy then sell up and go along to TW's Pizza shop and ask him for a new investment.

Just for the record I didn't give you a thumbs down for that post Ivor.:-) Ultimately shareholders can revolt by selling their shares. Certainly if I was one of the "smart money investors" who took part in the last placing at 15p I would be knocking on Lorne Abony's office door and asking some questions.

A disturbing article in Shareprophets today:
hxxps://www.shareprophets.com/views/30228/fastforward-innovations-another-disappointing-lorne-deal-disgraceful-non-disclosure

I know many on this board disregard TW and his associates, but this article does raise serious issues. The asset value has gone nowhere this year - probably downwards - a potentially good investment in SatoshiPay was sold at a minimal gain, the Diabetic Boot Company is struggling, Leap Gaming is unlikely to be floated and certainly not on NASDAQ, the Vemo deal is stuck..... and yet Abony gets £250,000 pa, an office and a pa. Had FFWD performed well, shareholders might accept that talent is expensive to hire, but it has done badly and Abony's pay and perks are not acceptable.
Time for a shareholders' revolt !
