14/5/2018 08:37 | "clever investor's" hmm errant apostrophe! Most institutional investment houses are out performed by the index. If the drug in the trial was not administered correctly then the results are flawed. If that is the case all that is lost is time whilst the trial is re-run. The current share price may represent a very good entry point. If however the trial was administered correctly then the share price is likely to trend lower. OD | obiterdicta
14/5/2018 08:33 | Massive bagger here when they announce the results void. Massive Bagger | ernestsyngen
13/5/2018 23:35 | There's a reason why the share price has dropped so low and it's written in the results. I really don't understand that pi's think that just because the share price was so high it will bounce back no matter what the bad news is. Well its a dangerous game to play when investing if you can call it investing and can lead you to desperate measures just like some of the posts here, trying to regain a fraction of your losses back. The reason why the share price is cheap is because the clever investor's have sold up and moved on, Simple. | deltalo
13/5/2018 19:18 | from an ignoramus's point of view...seems to me that City Financial dumping their entire holding of over 4% exacerbated the precipitous fall....was this amateur hour or what?.Fair enough,a huge disappointment for all concerned...but as an investor isn't a cold eye for opportunity one of the prerequisites. If you are 90% down overnight.....is it a rational/balanced decision to take the view that the remaining 10% is forfeit as well?....particularl For what its worth(def not a lot)...CFs decision to bail out was intemperate and unprofessional. This is to some extent borne out by the actions of other institutions....some have reduced around the edges..but another significant holder has increased their holding. We will see. | thefartingcommie
13/5/2018 18:56 | The company says it is too early to understand why based on early analysis, although the potential causes could include formulation, administration and deactivation. rather than put out this statement they should have assayed their qc samples and got a accurate reading of the active ingredient in each ampoule.. They should have got samples from the trial centres and tested them. this just gives investors false hope . | haroldthegreat
13/5/2018 18:39 | Does anyone have some real insight into how phase 3 trials are are conducted as some pretty serious questions need airing re this result? 1) Considering the total lack of efficacy of Traumakine in this trial , comparing to some stunning Ph. 11 results, when would Faron have been aware - surely some months ago but they carried on with positive stories- re ramping up manufacturing, compassionate use , new hires , news interviews etc. Does this represent some kind of mal practice ? Final recruitment took place in December, so they must have known what the mortality data was like for most of the patients ages ago. 11) It is obvious insiders were selling in week prior to the announcement but IIs, mostly missed this. Why ? Blinded by the hype ? 111) Is it possible a drug batch ( Interferon in this case ) can pass QC and then degrade to such an extent that it is useless but this does not get picked up? Do all trial centres use the same batch for the duration of the trial ? | mayflyniall

11/5/2018 14:47 | That RNS and subsequent article in shares magazine... oh dear! If thats true someones gonna get fired! On the LSE thread someone has suggested theyve spoke to the company and that an investigation could take a few weeks... whether true or not who knows... Id be keen on knowing if the Japan trial has used the same batch - if it has no one is actually getting the active drug! | jace86
