The wellbore didn't go down very far, rogerlin, Upper Jurassic, in an area well explored. I also noticed there was no mention of where Deepsea Bergen was going next.

Nothing on NPD yet, but they will probably mention the destination when there is a Press Rrelease. (Offshore Energy have basically reproduced the Faroe RNS.)

Fifteen days only although a few more to finish up, that is very quick. I had hoped the rig might go on to Brasse but they make no mention of that. Hades it is then.

So, Goanna is a duster. No loss to Faroe.

I'd much prefer Aerosmith to come in, anyway.

Elsewhere, I see that Hi-Tec Vision continue in buying mode. They will pay $200 million for Premier's share of Wytch Farm.

PL037, Petoro, Exxon, Centrica and Statoil. There were 24 exploration wells on this block of which only 8 were dry. That should be hopeful for Goanna! It does seem very strange to drill so close to the edge of a licence, hopefully it must be thought to extend out sideways?

Some late reported trades yesterday. Day volume ~ 1% of the company.

Still waiting for the holdings rns from previous large volumes.

Hoping, one day my patience will pay off.

The Goanna prospect straddles the border between PL 881 and PL 037, and the well will target a structural and stratigraphic prospect of Upper Jurassic Munin Formation sandstones. Faroe's associated costs of drilling this well will be fully carried by its joint venture partner up to the budgeted dry hole cost - I'm not sure what Wellesley get from paying Faroe's 30%? Was the drill plan based on Faroe's seismic?

Anyway as previously posted there doesn't seem to be much room between the PL037 border and this wellbore 33/9-22S (sic - typo is in the RNS) so the whole thing is a bit odd.
