So Falcon seem to be getting through $500,000 every 3 months that's $2mln in a year and they started the year with $9mln which means they have 4 1/2 years of cash on hand.

Doesn't seem much hurry to buy with drilling not taking place until next year . A bit of a wait

Hopefully Falcon will sell to Origin late 2020 or early 2021 once all the data from the test wells have been analysed.

Pan, Thanks for that. Seems a long wait for production but we will be sold long before that....

I am surprised it will take that long for production to begin.

3 test wells due 2019 and the final 2 in 2020.

All I ever hear from the US fracking how quickly a well can be brought on line and therefore I would have thought that production could begin in 2021.

herm: you can hear an interview with POQ via podcast on Newstalk Breakfast Business on 30th April - (14 minutes into the broadcast). Very positive as to massive potential; drilling early 2019, production will take 4/5 years

For investors who bought in at around 5p, the share price is already several hundred percent up.

Rockhopper (RKH) went from 17p in 2009 to 530p 2 years later after the discovery of the Sealion field north of the Falklands Islands.

I know this as I bought some at the lowest point and also sold some when they went past 500p on the way up!

By 2013 they were back at ca150p and today they are right back at 25p

A cautionary tale if, as we expect, Falcon goes to the moon when production is announced.

Yes cove went from 12p a share to a sale at 240p a share in about 5 years. I would be happy with that!. 2000% lovely.

Agreed squiresquire. I have taken a position here. The figures are quite astonishing and I'm hoping for another Cove Energy. Best of luck.

I think Falcon said there are 5 more test wells to be drilled. 3 in 2019 with the final 2 being in 2020.

Yes not a bad situation to be in at all. Well done to Falcon and Origin management.

I understand that Origin will start drilling at the start of the 2019 dry season. Exploration will be complete at the end of the 2020 dry season with production most likely to begin in 2021.

Basically this moratorium on fracking has put things back by 1 year.
