Changes in management

19 June 2020 - EVRAZ plc (LSE: EVR; "EVRAZ" or the "Group") announces changes in its executive management team.

Appointment of Andrey Davydov

Andrey Davydov was appointed Vice President and Head of the Coal Division, effective 2 6 June 2020.

Andrey Davydov joined EVRAZ in 2010. For five years, he headed EVRAZ' Sukha Balka iron ore mine in Ukraine; and, from 2016, Management Company EVRAZ Mezhdurechensk which manages the Sibugulemet group. Under his supervision, a management structure in line with EVRAZ practices was created and the highest standards implemented for occupational health and industrial safety, all while maintaining production growth levels. Andrey graduated from the Physics department of Kemerovo State University with a degree in Microelectronics and obtained additional education at the mining department of Moscow State Open University (specialisation in "Subterranean development of subsoil resources"). He is a graduate of the Presidential programme at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Sergey Stepanov, the outgoing Vice President at EVRAZ and the Head of the Coal Division made a decision to continue his career outside of EVRAZ.

Change of role for Leonid Kachur

Leonid Kachur was appointed Adviser to EVRAZ CEO.

Mr. Kachur has been working at EVRAZ since 1993, shortly after the Group's inception. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President, Business Support and Interregional Relations, to which he was appointed in 2010, he built an effective safety and economic security control system.

In this new role, Mr. Kachur will advise the CEO on matters concerning the safety and economic security control system's further development.

In addition, Sergey Vasiliev, Vice President, Compliance with Business Procedures and Asset Protection, will now report directly to the CEO to enhance managerial decision-making efficiency. Mr Vasiliev was appointed as Vice President, Compliance with Business Procedures and Asset Protection, in July 2015.
