The pound fell against pretty much everything today, but in answer to your question if the pound rose sharply against all the currencies where evr earns it's money then this would have a negative effect However there are lots of moving parts and just looking at the value of the pound will not give you a true picture, best to track as many of them as you can

Guys....apologies....v quick question.... Will Evraz be negatively affected by the rising £ and currency conversion issues ?

Weekly close above 604 would be bullish, it's rising on rising volume on all timeframes, quickly recovered from divi drop etc so all good so far. It is at the upper trendline of the broadening formation and a breakout from that would confirm further strength.

Dividend fx conversion was pretty much what I thought 30.56p That’ll do nicely.

Just my thoughts based on comparisons of other producers. EVR seems cheap. I don't have a view on long term steel prices etc - wouldn't really have a clue how to predict! But if they can continue based on current financial fundamentals (or even improve) the the company really should be demanding a much higher share price. Hugely cash generative, extremely generous dividend policy, reducing debt (easily serviceable) all looks good value to me atm? Would be sitting on a 10 bagger if we'd have invested in 2016!

Interesting King Suarez, that will also be at the top of the previous channel that we have just broken back into by the end of this quarter.

See this going onto £12bn market cap, which would be a share price of around £8.30. Would then be at roughly 4 x EBITDA. Still reasonably cheap, but more towards fair value?

Well it didn't take long to get back to pre ex divi levels. Nice

My mistake will be tomorrow, last time I will bang on about it, lets see if column inches are now filled by the press. BUR had a golden cross on the 26th Feb - it has added on average about 5% a week since

Yes, it is on a crazy high yield at the moment. Wish I had noticed it a few months ago when I could have aquired more shares!

To value it perhaps see how much the shr price would have to increase so the yield is just 7% If the 2nd and 3rd divs are the same as last yr that would be 105cents. On an exchange rate of 1.3 gives 80p per share which leads to a shr price of 1143p

I got a decent slug of these over the last few months and also BATS . Both good divi payers BATS interim ex div due 21 March at 50.75 p current price £29 EVR interim ex div 7th March at roughly 30p current price £5.88 not hard to see why this has had a good week.

Good question, 200ma is around 513p so GC will still form but could be delayed by upto 4 days imo I am expecting the shr price to rise prior to and after xdiv in my timeline, due to a breakout today and snticipation amoungst traders, either way GC will still form unless there is out of the blue bad news. Since this has just reported, bad news is unlikely imo
