'It technically means artists can sell unlimited 'virtual seats' to their performances, possibly presenting a new and highly valuable revenue stream, and could prove to be the springboard for new products such as a VR music album. Revenue will be shared between the company, the artists and the record labels.'

from above

'The consumer reaction to the launch of the Oculus Go headset has been very positive, yet we are keen to accelerate the growth of MelodyVR’s user base beyond the reach of the 324 million VR devices the market forecasts by the end of 2021,” wrote Matchett, on the former point.

“In order for the rate of MelodyVR user acquisition to surpass the expectation of VR hardware sales and adoption, we intend to extend the accessibility of our services to Android and iOS device users worldwide, which are currently in excess of 3 billion. With this in mind, we are currently evaluating a number of initiatives which will enable users to access content with their smartphone devices. I look forward to providing further updates on this, as well as our other initiatives, in due course.”

WELL AT least the premarket Dow Nasdaq over in the US looks better for this afternoon.
I think yesterday's drop held us back today.

'What an amazing year for @MelodyVR! 🙌 We launched unmissable performances from artists like @wizkhalifa, @Imaginedragons, @PostMalone and @thisissigrid, and topped it off with our first ever LIVE stream with @LiamPayne! 🎉 '

Too many people are trying to make a go of VR to not take it seriously.
VR appears on TV in one form or another all the time.
Occulus and Samsung have sold millions of VR headsets, and will sell millions more.

Casting technology will allow non headset wearers to follow the action.
In experience Avatars will become commonplace and enable in experience social interaction.

Android and iPhone adaptations of MVR's App will step things up several levels.

All you have to do is pick the winners with scalable operations and a unending stream of new content that does not cost the earth to produce.

But you would be up against the experts in companies like Apple ...see the Mac link.... if you think VR is not a good bet.Read Apple secretly into AR/VR link.

I think Jak has just proven what we all know, namely;

If you think VR is the future then now is the time to invest.

On the other hand if you think VR has no future then you need to short the share.

Have the courage of you convictions.
Good luck all.

Hello again Jak. So what's this, are you inventing penicillin or is that a maths formula to bring down Melody? You'll try anything won't you ?!?

Re the sale of shares to Oppenheimer. As dlewis says, it was a benefit to shareholders - because it had the effect of reducing the dilution. As did the postponement of the later 51m warrants which would have been about 4 per cent.

I don't think you understood what happened with the sale of those shares. What the directors did was to reduce their holding and transfer via a direct sale to the new institutional holders the same amount of shares plus additional. That was a benefit to shareholders as the issue of new shares were less than what the institutional shareholders wanted. For eg say the institutional shareholders wanted 100 they took 50 new and 50 from the directors. Instead of the directors issuing a 100 new shares. I don't understand why it's an issue that they sold at 16+ the persons that bought them at that price is still holding and that's what is important. They see the value.

I think the stock market was in a completely different place when Amazon and the rest started out....they knew we were in for an amazing bull market.
Now days we are in a different place.

HOWEVER you cannot hold back technology or un - invent something and change will happen however we are in economic terms.
If it is cheaper to watch at home rather than go to a concert then you could argue that it could do well in economically uncertain times.

I think we will have to leave it upto the individual to judge but if Techcrunch and their predicted numbers are right, then somebody is going to make a lot of money out of it.

I don't know if it will be EVR Holdings, we will have to wait for the numbers eventually to see.
I do hope so!

'Imagine if a major pop music star wanted to give fans more access to her experience on the road. She could hire someone to film her go about her daily business with state-of-the-art 360 cameras and livestream the footage to Twitch. Fans who tuned in would feel like they were really hanging out backstage with the star, flying with her in her private jet, or sharing a coffee in her kitchen at home. Of course, they'd be able to experience her concerts as if they were standing right there and check out backstage areas at her concerts as well.'

FORBES

'Most importantly, this technology can and will transform the nature of both entertainment and education. It won’t be long before 360-degree programming will place viewers in the driver’s seat of a flying car or face-to-face with the “Mona Lisa.” All of these experiences will be available to viewers from the comfort of their couch and the convenience of their phone, tablet or other device. The opportunity to be among the first to bring this type of entertainment experience to home viewers is filled with creative possibilities, both for the viewers and the creators.'

I did answer the question in my own way and if you couldn't see that perhaps you need some virtual reality glasses!

I think your short is under threat my boy.

VOX Markets stated that EVR Holdings could be 'virtually huge' some time back and at first VR seemed to take a while to grow.
I think that the time is now to take off...this year, and this along with other interests I have in the same space will I think be the future.
Time will tell.
