18/10/2017 16:01 | Can you get a discount on zero ? | kreature
18/10/2017 15:48 | They're worth the discounted value of the revenues they eventually bring in. Try reading this | igbertsponk
18/10/2017 14:27 | Cool, there are deals in place that the various parties are signed up to. You seem to suggest the deals are in favour of everyone but melody pots then say 'but nobody knows'. So could it be that melody have struck deals that are in their favour, let me know if that's a possibility please? | trumpingtonsmythe
18/10/2017 13:21 | Royalties are based on listens/views, like everything in the music industry. Their model is a revenue share one - the more views the more EVERYONE makes. Hence the record labels happy to take warrants to share in the eventual success. | igbertsponk
18/10/2017 12:58 | Sorry Folks... are you saying you know exactly what these "Deals" are with these big Businesses ? Are you saying there are no royalty payments that EVRH has to make to those Businesses ? What makes you think those Businesses have spent significant time & money on those agreements... they're more likely and 'off-the-shelf' "if you want access to blah, blah... it's limited to blah, blah... and you will pay us $$$$$$$$$$$$" This was the point I was making... that there may be false assumptions about those "Deals" that none of us are able to explore because the Agreements themselves are confidential. Hence, I've proposed there are Costs (to EVRH) involved, hence EVRH's offering to the Market has to be very good to offset those potential royalties. | pottermagic2310
18/10/2017 10:05 | Hardly elected not to use EVR. Warner are investors in NextVR so will of course use that for some stuff. Validates the market. | igbertsponk
18/10/2017 08:09 | At no point has the company mentioned anything about information security, or protecting themselves and their "digital assets" from attack. How is this being managed??? What would be the outcome of a data breach or theft?? Id guess it would be seriously expensive and damaging!! | barren_wuffett
18/10/2017 07:53 | Trumpington - yes, of course you are quite right - there is the flaw in my argument. It was hiding there all the time and I just didn't spot it. Cheers mate for pointing it out Potter! I must now go and review my portfolio and sell all those pesky useless shares in companies who've gone to the cost and trouble of actually wasting shareholder funds by signing legal agreements in pursuit of growing their profits. I say sack all those Directors- they clearly have no idea what they are doing!!! LOL!! | bobby1904
18/10/2017 07:26 | What you are missing apparently bobby is that it is actually a disadvantage to have deals with majors according to pots! | trumpingtonsmythe
18/10/2017 06:52 | Potter - did you read the recent Zeus research note? I'd genuinely be interested in your critical analysis of it, then we can better understand your thinking... | bobby1904
18/10/2017 06:50 | Jaknife and Kreature obviously have a busy morning. Probably not had enough time to think why the 3 largest music companies in the world + a small tech business called Microsoft and some music bloke called Jay Z have all spent a load of time effort and legal fees to sign up agreements with EVR. I guess they all had nothing better to do either?..... | bobby1904
18/10/2017 06:46 | All you negative naysayers should sell your shares (if you even have any) to me - I'll gladly sell them back to you when the hit £1...!! | bobby1904
18/10/2017 06:31 | So what should I do pots? | trumpingtonsmythe
17/10/2017 21:47 | What nobody is looking into AND will struggle to find any documented evidence of is this.... does EVRH have to pay a Royalty to the Business's it has agreements with ? Let's assume they do... then the quality has to be very attractive to potential Consumers, the App has to be very, very appealing to those Consumers too, particularly in terms of "User Experience", features & functionality AND the Business has to have very good Advertising revenue streams in place with multiple Partners if it's going to offset all operating Costs and all royalty payments against Consumer & Advertising income streams.... with only a few 10s of millions of potential Customers globally (VR Headset owners). Seems to me that NextVR, JauntVR and others are already way ahead... this feels like a complete dud | pottermagic2310
17/10/2017 16:29 | so looks like the unknown duration of the exclusive period must have ended, thus rendering the 'exclusive period' worthless ? but on the bright side I suppose they probably still have the biggest library of unlicensed unseen (out-of-date?) VR content in the world? | kreature
17/10/2017 12:27 | JakNife, see last RNS As part of the relationship, MelodyVR will receive the right to create and distribute content created with Roc Nation artists for an exclusive period, followed by a period of joint-exploitation by both parties. | eastender boy
17/10/2017 10:00 | JakNife, There is a very good reason for not starting the clock now on the signed agreements as they want to make sure they have enough global sales of the VR headsets before launch. why start a timed exclusive agreement before you have a critical mass number of headsets out there. Just to reconfirm again, NO OTHER company has these exclusive agreements in place and are not miles ahead. EVRH still have the first mover advantage as well as the largest amount of content. The whole VR movement is taking a little longer to get its ducks in order., but we are at the starting blocks ready to go. Not long to go now tic toc | eastender boy
17/10/2017 09:14 | Which competition with over 5,000 hours of content already recorded would that be Jaknife? | igbertsponk |
