12/7/2019 17:07 | This calendar year will be significant | dave444
24/6/2019 07:49 | Excellent, the publication referred to in today's RNS is free to access, although I do not suppose it will appear in any of the best seller lists ☹️ | timbo003
13/6/2019 20:30 | I don't think there was anything new in those results. I see Finncap maintain their short term target price at 35p rising to 85p on a successful outcome from the SAH trial. Just have to wait patiently for 3 or 4 months. | pdt
12/6/2019 12:55 | I have been eating sprout from Abel & Cole and also tried the shots of juice from Tonic Attack. The website of the latter shows that a lot of thought has gone into the production of the juice to result in a high quality product. I am probably going to continue to take both. The juice tastes exactly as you can imagine crushed sprout to taste like! The fresh sprout goes well added to a lunchtime sandwich or with a salad! I wonder if we will get any new news with tomorrow's results? There does seem to be more interest in the shares over the last couple of days. | pdt
31/5/2019 11:49 | The full year results are usually in mid June, perhaps we will get a bit of news with them? Although I guess its only 3 months or so until we get the SAH results. One of the modes of action of SFX-01 is activation of NRF2. I have seen some new research that suggests that it is a positive factor in treating SAH. Here is the abstract; Tetramethylpyrazine Nitrone Reduces Oxidative Stress to Alleviate Cerebral Vasospasm in Experimental Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Models And the series of trades showing today as sells at 19.45 are in fact buys since one of them is mine :) | pdt
28/5/2019 15:00 | Blakeysangel, Hi! I grow the sprouts and they are very easy. I use large canning jars with screened lids that I bought separately. Before the screens I just cut a square of nylon netting ( think ballet tutu!). I prefer the sprouts to broccoli. Very good as a green on sandwiches and in salads. Make a smoothie with a banana, berries, sprouts and soy or almond milk. I eat them daily. | ih_343095
26/5/2019 09:04 | Bazbarrow - thanks for the link, I am going to give it a go as well. And probably go for the Abel and Cole fresh sprouts. Whilst we wait for Evgen results if anyone is interested in another company in this space it is worth a look at C4X Discovery who expect to licence their NRF2 activation molecules in the near future. I hold these so DYOR etc Current price 49p and they raised money recently at 90p so the graph looks terrible and they are at their 52 week low. | pdt
25/5/2019 19:03 | I’ve just read an interesting article about broccoli sprouts on Mercola “can a pill offer the same benefits as broccoli” ,it’s from 2015, but an interesting read, if there calculations are right I’m taking the equivalent of about 5+ pounds of broccoli...lol it doesn’t bear thinking about!!. I’m feeling particularly well at the moment so alls good. 😀😀 I’m quite green fingered so may try growing the broccoli sprouts.. should be interesting!! | blakeysangel
25/5/2019 18:34 | Abel and Cole deliver to homes in the UK along with lots of other organic goodies. Its not too badly priced. Freezing works I think the link below may have been posted a year or so back but after the science part she talks about the preparation and heating to 70 degrees In the 'science part' there is also a study on the effectiveness of broccoli sprout powder ... I have started that in addition to the real veg as live in a hot place and have failed miserably to grow the sprouts hxxps://www.youtube. | peterm10
25/5/2019 18:15 | First of all a belated but very appreciative thanks to Blakesyangel for keeping the thread informed of progress. That is really good news >>Bazbarrow Thanks for that link, I was wondering whether there was anyone out there using Hydroponics to grow broccoli sprouts commercially. I have ordered some try, but I do wonder whether the glucoraphin remains stable for the duration of the shelf life. It is one thing achieving microbiological stability, but maintaining the chemical stability of the glucoraphin in the presence of myrosinase may not be so easy. Both glucoraphin and myrosinase are present in broccoli and it the plant they are presumably separated, either physically (cell wall or membrane for example) or by some active mechanism, but once the sprouts have been juiced, this will no longer be the case, so the myrosinase would presumably get to work on the hydrolysis of the glucoraphin to form Sulforaphane, which as we know is inherently unstable. I wonder if Oliver (who runs the business), has looked into supplying the fresh (unjuiced) sprouts to retailers to sit along side the mustard and cress in the salad aisles | timbo003
25/5/2019 11:29 | Hi Blakeysangel, That's good news...have your tried broccoli sprout juice... contains far more sulforaphane than broccoli. You can purchase sachets from s lovely chap at tonic attack. hxxp://www.tonicatta Good luck Richard | bazbarrow
23/5/2019 00:23 | So generous of you to share. Thank you.Wondering why the news of SFX-01 isn't being shouted from the rooftops! Hopefully before too long other patients will have access. | ih_343095
22/5/2019 18:23 | Jadite.... My cancer unfortunately can’t get smaller, mine destroys my bone and I have no solid tumor. I don’t have anymore information unfortunately, wouldn’t it be good to have a bit more knowledge!. I’m happy with being stable I,m mobile, manage pain very well and most of the time feel well, I have had to modify my life a little ( hoping to give up work) but apart from that all is good 😀 | blakeysangel
22/5/2019 13:43 | Who's this Richard Griffiths fellow? | mirabeau
16/5/2019 17:04 | Hello Blakeysangel. So happy to hear that your scan was good. I understand that the disease is not progressing but is there also evidence that it has retreated? Is that info available to you as a study participant? I am a big consumer of broccoli as well! | ih_343095
15/5/2019 21:01 | Fantastic!! Sulforaphane clearly works for you. | nobbygnome
15/5/2019 20:54 | Very pleased for you ?that's great. | adj1
15/5/2019 18:35 | Well done. Celebratory gin is in order | langland
15/5/2019 18:32 | Hi, Just a little update. Today I had scan results And alls good so that’s 3 weeks short of a year in this 😀😀 3 months till my next scan .. and breath, eat broccoli oh and a celebratory Gin. 😀😀 | blakeysangel
09/5/2019 20:51 | An article in the Daily Mail today I wonder if this is the effect they hinted at in the interims re the Kings work on stroke; "The study also revealed an unexpected neuropsychiatric benefit after 30 days dosing of SFX-01; details will be disclosed after patent protection has been assessed and the data has been published" | pdt
08/5/2019 18:55 | Another 5p off and we will be there | dave444
04/5/2019 12:58 | No matter what you said the market wasn't listening. Same will happen again fella, wish I was wrong. Personally I like the lack of hyperbole from the CEO here which I now take as a bonus in a share :-) | l0ngterm
03/5/2019 20:57 | Sorry. Don't understand the question. | nobbygnome
03/5/2019 19:45 | Nobby: Market forces vs reality, what did you learn? | l0ngterm
03/5/2019 12:14 | IMM was a disaster waiting to happen as I highlighted frequently. EVG is a completely different kettle of fish (strange saying that).... | nobbygnome |
