Who knows for sure amaretto, but he does not have that kind of background, from what I could determine, so it would be somewhat left-field I think.
Anyway, if/when we get a partner announcement, I would expect that to put the cat among the pigeons and finally underpin a real re-rate. Prior to then, it feels like we might be in a 6-8p trading range now. But do not take this as gospel, because my crystal ball is rubbish!

if Kight was going to sell out for a quick buck then he wouldn't have bought at yesterday's high prices, he would have just sold into it.

so we've had 2 guys from this board who have bought and shown up as sells, hmmmm!

Total volume around 500k so far today - less than £35k worth.

Just bought a mere 50k @ 6.82 and they put the offer up to 6.9.

Expect positive share price movement today as yesterday's RNS sinks in . But these are strange times we live in and short term thinkers are moving small cap values . EVG will multi-bag I'm sure in time and I am in for the "big one". It is frustrating that even great news only has a short term positive impact if it is not producing short term gains for the company. Have faith & good luck all LTH's.

Hi Nobby, mulling over your observation in the speed that Orphan Drug designation has been granted, might suggest that Evgen has a US player with influence, as the application was only made 13th July and so the FDA response appears incredibly rapid. Gl ;-)

Evgen Pharma PLC (AIM:EVG, FRA:8EV) said its SFX-01 drug has been granted an orphan drug designation (OD) by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of malignant glioma.

The clinical stage drug development company submitted its application for OD designation on 13 July 2021.

Dr Huw Jones, CEO of Evgen, said: "We are delighted that our team and advisors have successfully gained Orphan Drug designation for SFX-01 in the USA in a very short period of time. This is part of a wider strategy to access the US market and positions us well for further investigations of our lead asset in this devastating brain cancer as we continue to optimize SFX-01 for clinical trials and eventually partnering.''

It will be very interesting to see what happens today. The company is fundamentally undervalued but whether the granting of the orphan drug designation really causes a rerate remains to be seen

Aaron: I anticipated 10p at some point next week at the latest, testing year highs at some point before Xmas - and I considered that to be fairly conservative. However, as I have demonstrated today and not for the first time, my short term predictive vision is next to useless! Absolutely no idea what tomorrow will bring now, but I have stated my own intentions here and I agree with you - the news today is seriously good, if not entirely unexpected by all. Furthermore, as MM states, we have other irons in the fire that may indeed drop soon as well. Anyway, I am sure we are all looking forward to finding out!

Ps short term profit takers temporarily dragged the share price back today, but there appears to be an ever diminishing free float of shares with Mr Kight and like minded people mopping UP, and so continued UPward momentum more than likely!!! Gla ;-)
