12/10/2020 13:03 | UPward momentum on its way......Gla ;-) | moneymunch
12/10/2020 12:34 | SNG had a market cap of under £7m at the start of the year so they were hardly a big player. I think EVG were slow off the mark. I wonder if that's why the CEO was shown the door in April. | enter
12/10/2020 12:17 | The trial isn’t in the hands of Evgen, so timing is out of their control. | bumpa33
12/10/2020 12:17 | ...and with everything that’s at stake and the potentially huge validation & remuneration for winners in the field, i wouldn’t be surprised if there were a pecking order, as such. | bumpa33
12/10/2020 12:13 | EVG £17m market cap and SNG £300m market cap. For all we know the EVG treatment could be just as good or better. I find it totally baffling that EVG didn't get the trial underway in the early part of the year. | enter
12/10/2020 11:56 | sng going up again only 6 bagged on their covid treatment news | stockhunters
12/10/2020 11:32 | Confirmation that SFX-01's Covid-19 patient trials are finally underway must be imminent given the grim outlook on the surge of new cases. 12/10/20 Coronavirus UPDATES: Top medic warns deaths will rise as infection rips through young The Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England has warned that rising infection rates among young people, especially in the North West of England, is leading to higher rates among the elderly. Hospital deaths from coronavirus will rise in the coming weeks as infections continue to rise, the Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England has said. At a briefing this morning Jonathan Van-Tam explained that high rates of infection among young adults was now spreading into older generations, which was leading to higher hospital admission rates. “There is the spread from those younger age groups into the 60 plus age group in the North West and the North East, and there are rates of change in the same places but also extending a little further south,” he said. “And this is again of significant concern... because of course the elderly suffer a much worse course with Covid-19, they are admitted to hospital for longer periods, and they are more difficult to save.” Their briefing come after it was reported that the Army will be drafted to Liverpool to help the city in its coronavirus efforts. At 3.30pm today Boris Johnson will address MPs in the House of Commons, before delivering an televised update to the people. | moneymunch
12/10/2020 10:51 | For a stock with a potential treatment for patients with breathing difficulties due to Covid it's amazing how quiet things are. As you say an update on proceedings must be close. Everything is lining up for a rerate once the market realises how undervalued EVG is. | enter
12/10/2020 10:30 | A sudden and significant re-rate at anytime, surely an update on proceedings must be very close....now!!! Gla :-) | moneymunch
12/10/2020 10:26 | big buyer soaking up the stock | stockhunters
12/10/2020 10:23 | There is a massive opportunity for EVG. They just need to get some news out. Sulforaphane is not just a shot in the dark, it has every chance of being effective in cutting inflammation in hospitalised Covid patients. Are you there Dr Huw Jones? | enter
12/10/2020 09:53 | Good to see SNG bouncing back this morning to £2 plus, which must have put on another £40m on their market cap to almost £300m, which certainly highlights EVG's potential upside from it's current lowly £17m market cap. Gla :-) | moneymunch
12/10/2020 07:58 | Tech British billionaire Jim Mellon plans to take his life extension start-up public in six to 12 months Key Points British billionaire Jim Mellon says he expects to take his life extension company Juvenescence public in the next six to 12 months. He told CNBC that Juvenescence has identified the investment banks it wants to work with. Juvenescence is investing in a wide range of anti-ageing therapies in the hope that one or two ideas end up working. Juvenescence, which has 29 employees in London, has raised about $170 million privately and Mellon said it still has a “fair amount of money left in the bank.” Other billionaires, including Mike Cannon-Brookes, the co-founder of Australian software firm Atlassian, and NEX Group founder Michael Spencer, have invested in the company. | moneymunch
12/10/2020 07:43 | crazy times at the moment ncyt nearing 1000p right place evg just need to update market | stockhunters
11/10/2020 19:19 | Success in covid trials would give you that in an instant. Even without that on a longer term time frame I think every chance. I really like the risk/reward here, for a number of reasons that have been discussed in depth here over the last few months but each to their own. | bumpa33
11/10/2020 19:05 | What's the chances of EVG 10 bagging from here? Had it tipped but want to sanity check the prediction with a cross section of holders. | valuetracker
11/10/2020 19:01 | Interesting mm - and (once again) the role of inflammation, this time in depression. | bumpa33
11/10/2020 18:59 | Most definitely Bumpa, and maybe one day an analogue of SFX-01 will have a part to play, from one Peter Pan to another...Gl :-))) | moneymunch
11/10/2020 18:56 | Sulforaphane fo Mice given sulforaph | moneymunch
11/10/2020 18:53 | mm - yep, can you imagine? the stock mkt manía around that little subject - anti-aging/eternal life - would dwarf anything we’ve ever seen....! | bumpa33
11/10/2020 18:52 | Off on a tangent here but something I’ve been looking into is the use of psychedelics for various treatments. In the US Andrew Left of Citron highlighted Compass Pathways recent IPO - the first US listed psychedelics company - and their use of the active compound in magic mushrooms for treating depression. Interesting that Juvenescence is looking at that field too. Considering the last major advance in the treatment of depression was Prozac back in the 80’s that is a massive mkt opportunity right there. Apologies o/t. | bumpa33
11/10/2020 18:17 | Billionaire Antiaging Investor Jim Mellon Predicts We Will Live to 115-150 Years Jim Mellon is a billionaire investor in antiaging companies. Jim has made several investments in antiaging companies and as one of the leading investors in the field gets pitched almost all of the antiaging companies. Jim thus has a unique perspective on what the latest developments are with anti-aging technology. Jim predicts that average life expectancy will be 115 years by 2050 while today it is about 80 years. Gene therapy will extend that to 150 years. He predicts there will be significant new developments in the next few years alone. Jim predicts that in ten to fifteen years cancer will mostly become a manageable chronic condition in the cases where it is not completely cured. Jim predicts there will be a large improvement in overall public health from a wave of new biotech treatments and drugs within the next five years. There will also be a larger improvement in health from gene editing, stem cells and full tissue regeneration, organ transplantation from animals into humans. The past six years has seen the emergence of the cure for hepatitis C, cancer immunotherapy, curing leukemia, and CRISPR CAS9 gene editing. Jim pointed out that the current global market for anti-aging products is about $140 billion but nothing actually works in terms of extending lifespan. He predicts that there will soon be effective life-extending products and treatments. This will cause the biggest stock market mania in history. Juvenescence (aka antiaging) will become the biggest industry on the planet. | moneymunch
11/10/2020 12:38 | And in the non therapeutic arena just imagine if Juvenescence can successfully mkt their stabilized sulforaphane product as THE go to anti-aging supplement - the holy grail of the health and beauty mkt ;) | bumpa33
11/10/2020 12:21 | This is a must read and simple explanation as to the scope of the potential for sulforaphane across multiple fields, from the originators - I’ve not read this before but apologies if it’s already been posted. Also, without wishing this to sound flippant, but we are now moving into the sweet spot for EVG in terms of COVID-19 - the trial is under way, numbers are again on the surge and we finally have a CEO to lead us on. | bumpa33
