Look out for fund raising announcement in the next few weeks and the final collapse into single digits, starting to look like an excellent short again with the current blip up

cudmore, with respect you are bound to get upward spikes here and there on the long downward trend, more so when the stock has suffered from such a drastic fall in such a short time. One sight of a swallow does not mean it is summer!!

The new people that will be left with a job that they have no experience of and will no-doubt be the ones left holding the can for the slow demises of the remainder of the business once the cash has been burned.

What a result for sellers this has been.

I notice that Woodford is launching a new fund and is backing the new business of the ex ceo here. It's on the FT. It's called the Special Needs fund and the business is Eve Sheep, a new kind of yellow lamb that has extra fluffy wool

Getting close to my single digit target I've been mentioning since this was 130p. I wonder if that ignorant troll ex ceo has managed to sell his stock before it's worthless. Will need to RNS if he is selling

Surprised no comments from anyone on this:

Eve Sleep backs off in Europe
August 2, 2018

...UK mattress startup Eve Sleep no longer sells its mattresses in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and many other countries in Europe. There is no official reason given for this radical change, but fact is that Eve Sleep is now focusing on France and its home market in the United Kingdom...

Ex-Asda boss Leighton aims to deliver Simba bounce
13 August 2018 • 12:01am
Turnaround guru Allan Leighton has been appointed chairman of online mattress seller Simba.

The former Royal Mail chairman and Asda chief executive has also invested £1m in the company...

Simba was founded by chief executive Steve Reid and vice chairman James Cox in February 2016. Since launch, the company says it has sold around 200,000 mattresses, generating sales of more than £130m.

The company had racked up retained losses of £3.3m by Sept 30 2016. Accounts for the year to September 2017, due to be filed on June 30 2018, have yet to be submitted to Companies House. A spokesman for the company said the delay related to a fundraising round earlier this year...

Clocktower I think they are memory foam, the product itself looks good from what I've seen.

I think it is the execution and financial side where things have gone awry.

Agreed but that's always the case with this company. Price doesn't fall 20% for no reason, must be something in the background wait for an announcement from the company.

Maybe its been leaked ?

looking at financials none they have or did have cash. What is the reason for a 20% fall nothing to indicate an issue in number of trades today,

Has woodford sold out or is starting to reduce

Itcm1, Sorry but no good looking at stars, when you should be watching where a falling one is going to land, and hopefully you would have taken action to avoid the damage.

You just have to look at the big brands of the past to see where this is going: How highly do you rate Slumberland - Myers - Silentnight - Reylon along with a host of other leading top quality Brands - how much are they worth these days - are they anything more than just another Brand now?

After all most of these mattresses on not much more than a block of foam and a number of spring coils - nothing special unless you buy a top quality handmade mattress, and that will cost you a few thousand pounds now days.

Doomed.
