15/5/2019 14:45 | looking to start the survey on 15th July using Fugro Venturer. We now have a Drilling Manager - may have been there for a while - Simon Lucas - preparing to drill in 2020 as promised. | jusmasel99
15/5/2019 14:06 | Well here we go .. Site Survey Application in for Inishkea .. Siem Symphony in and out of Falmouth several times so clearly loading stores now .. This time next year Rodney ... actually could be in 3 months if we get to hear of the iolar results. And of course the Farm In to be confirmed. | jusmasel99
15/5/2019 07:06 | Bit of movement now down in Falmouth and this from Ireland .. Iolar starting soon .. | jusmasel99
13/5/2019 08:13 | Icemax still not moved. | rogerlin
13/5/2019 07:16 | Interesting detail from UJO this morning on Wressle with netback of $55 at OP $70. Equals £2.3m a year net profit with more to come from additional zones in the well. Thoughts over the weekend are that this farm in deal delay could be tied to CNOOC/ExxonMobil getting the nod for Iolar. Given the two support vessels now with the Icemax you would have to think that the operator has been given some indication from DCCAE that Ministerial approval is imminent. The additional assessment they are waiting on approval for is quite strange in that it basically outlines ALL the areas offshore Ireland that would be permitted to have exploration wells on not just Iolar. So very much a cut and paste job for new applicants. | jusmasel99
09/5/2019 08:33 | And now the Edda Frende is there as well. | rogerlin
07/5/2019 21:05 | There is a new supply ship there now, Siem Symphony, surely getting ready to drill as if they were just leaving they would not need support. | rogerlin
06/5/2019 11:43 | Viking Prince must have been offloading equipment as it is now returning to Peterhead. | jusmasel99
05/5/2019 12:14 | Catching up now, lolar got a mention here... | bountyhunter
05/5/2019 12:07 | I've lost the thread here I'm afraid, what's the significance of the Icemax? | bountyhunter
05/5/2019 11:03 | Icemax headed out to sea then stopped. Viking Prince (support vessel) now alongside. Very strange. | jusmasel99
01/5/2019 11:11 | It arrived a few weeks ago - lying at anchor now. | jusmasel99
01/5/2019 10:56 | Stena Icemax is heading towards Falmouth according to VTS system. | joestalin
01/5/2019 09:27 | Consultation period only closed on Monday for the additional appropriare assessment doc on Iolar - so decision could be soon. The full application and decision will be a cut and paste example for EOG and others to follow. | jusmasel99
01/5/2019 08:12 | The Stena Icemax is still off Falmouth waiting on permitting to begin the Iolar drill. It needs to start soon to catch the summer weather window. If this doesn't happen this year it will be a big setback for the Porcupine. Inishkea could still happen though. | rogerlin
01/5/2019 08:11 | Thanks Jus Tuesday, April 30, 2019 - 05:31 PM British exploration company Europa Oil and Gas is expecting to finalise a development partner for the bulk of its Irish offshore licences in the coming months, enabling drilling work to begin sometime next year. | currypasty
01/5/2019 08:04 | Well if news has leaked it won't be from EOG I am sure. Be interesting to see trading patterns for the next couple of days | jusmasel99
01/5/2019 08:01 | Asking for trouble by doing that. Doesn't make any sense. Maybe short of news. | guesswhosback2
01/5/2019 06:53 | Maybe wrong but in the back of my mind I seem to recall these guys being on the button as far as pre-empting news is concerned - why publish this now? | jusmasel99
29/4/2019 12:05 | only need to wait until Nov 5th for that to start, yawn zzzz | bountyhunter
24/4/2019 10:29 | Seapulse aka Seacrest aka Azeire have gone extremely quiet since launching their proposal last November. Seapulse website still says it is coming soon and emails to them go unanswered. Not suggesting that the project has been canned but their presentation references a UK well to be spudded H2 this year with the three Ireland wells to be drilled contiguously starting Q2 2020. If that were the case and given the slow pace of DCCAE at the moment then site survey requests will have to be in place soon to get them done this summer. Now if they are the interested party then the delay makes some sense along with our rush to do three site surveys this year. Only problem is that they wouldn't be using their own Azeire licences. | jusmasel99 |
