But no trades have actually gone through at less than 3p, probably being held there because of the placing & open offer.

Feel sorry for all who `filled their boots` at 6p, which seemed a reasonable bet at the time!!!
Annoyed that management have promised much and achieved little but just hope that we have set a floor of 3p & can move on from there. Very underwater on my 500k but look fondly on the days when you could ride the highs and lows and make 25-40% each time trading this share!!!!!!!!!

My first post here. I bought in here yesterday for the Irish fields. I'm already in PVR, who've farmed out there fields to the Chinese. If EOG get funding, then they will be in a similar boat, and there appears to be a nice upside.
Feel sorry for you guys being diluted, but hope this is the bottom.

Hugh won't be worried. Who ever calls him up? People only worry when it gets personal. This is strictly business to him and he's under water at 6p too.

4STA what about all the other punters who bought a long time ago on much much higher prices and have had their money tied up for last 5 years etc.
I have great sympathy for them as well.

GWB2 thanks mate. I only posted my own ideas because the time lines discussed were madness but posted with an air of authority that implies real knowledge and experience. It is a shame because stocks like this do tend to attract optimistic types who latch onto such posting.
Anyways best of luck all and here's hoping this farm out crystallises as rns'd!!

Feel for whoever it was that bought 250,000 just yesterday @ 3.8p. Still need to do more work to get a farmout partner! seems like it's all we've been doing for years. 50% dilution at 3p. You should be ashamed of yourself Hugh.

That's great roger, so while we wait we can diluted out of existence or they can chase other long term dreams in Morocco as well.

"In Ireland, Cairn has an acreage position in the Porcupine Basin with an interest in five licences over an area of more than 4,000km(2) . In H1, activity focused on processing the large 3D seismic data set acquired in 2017 and developing a lead and prospect inventory across LO 16/19 (Cairn 70% WI, Operatorship) and the adjacent LO 16/18."

We do already have a deal with Cairn in 16/19. Admittedly it only covers the work up and not drilling but if Cairn think it's good enough they will drill in time. It's all slow now but that's down to Druid/Drombeg being dry, if that had been a success there would be a frenzy of activity. If Nexen's well comes in the game will be on again.

Dunder. A fair comment but Jus does at least give us some thoughts to ponder. I also acknowledge your realistic responses too. If like me you are in big (relatively)then just got to hang on in for a rise and that will only come when making deals.

I don't think for 1 minute you bully anyone and you are clearly not an idiot. The only idiots are the ones who believe the hype and unfortunately that includes me.

These Finncap fools how can they release that information when our own board do not give us an update?

Just thinking aloud like but there are certain brilliant researchers on here who seem to have gone a 'bit quiet' lately?
I was accused of bullying and being an idiot and posting drivel at the time when I had the temerity to question their "suppositions".
Just wondering like "where they are" on this at the moment....
Ahem I'll get me coat.

Europa has already received farm-in offers for three of the four blocks from a major international oil company – LO 16/20 in the Slyne basin, and FEL 1/17 and FEL 3/13 in the Southern Porcupine basin. Terms have largely been agreed and are subject to final approval by senior executives from head office. A successful conclusion is expected to fund a well on each licence: the 1tcf flagship Inishkea prospect on LO 16/20, the 462mmbbl Wilde prospect on FEL 3/13 and the 225mmbbl Edgeworth prospect on FEL 1/17, starting as early as 2020. This would be a major catalyst for the shares, putting three firm exploration wells in the calendar and providing some cash injection via recovery of back costs (£1.95m assumed). In May 2018, Bahamas Petroleum shares jumped 300% on the day they entered exclusive negotiations with a “major international oil company” for the company’s licenses in the Bahamas.

Oh yes I'm really looking forward to more hypothetical figures on paper and bring told everyone is really really interested in them.
I personally want to hear about the last DR and if they are in commercial discussions with anyone plus clarification on drilling in 2019.
Good old Hugh at al.
