09/10/2001 15:17 | silverdays - 09 Oct'01 - 15:01 - 31 of 31 So do i take the 23.10.01 offer or not ??? | vatteton
09/10/2001 15:01 | I heard from a friend within ETE (better than a source in sweden I reckon) that WH plans to buy back the company and take it private again. This issue has effectively been underwritten by WH so he will claim the shares that nobody wants (which will be a lot). He then owns most of the shares and buys the rest back at a small premium. So there you have it! | silverdays
09/10/2001 11:47 | watch out for buys today imho | gopalla
09/10/2001 09:06 | That ramp's big enough to assist a Harrier Jump Jet!! All in my opinion of course... Gulp - should I have said that? | dontknowitall
08/10/2001 21:26 | I have reason to believe that ETE are going to have some heavy buying in tomorrow. My sources in sweeden tell me to buy these to hold for 3 weeks. At the end of the 3 weeks there will be a big announcement and then sell ETE. | gopalla
08/10/2001 19:34 | Maybe worth keeping an eye on IMHO | arpeggio
08/10/2001 10:58 | warrenhardy - how many would you like me to buy? | arpeggio

04/10/2001 11:57 | Oneliner. The record date was 25/09/01. If you bought your shares prior to this date you should receive the offer. Would Ring barclays and enquire. | unimog
04/10/2001 11:34 | I bought 2 weeks ago from Barclays, not had the rights pack. When will they send them to me? | oneliner
04/10/2001 11:16 | Just recieved my offer today, they want another £406 off me. It seems that if the offer is approved at the EGM, Hardy gets his £1.5m back but has agreed to take 50,000,000 offer shares. This will take his holding following admission to 67,745,255. So far he has lost millions, Why is he throwing another £1.5m into the kitty?. Is any share holders out their going to take up this offer? | unimog
01/10/2001 15:21 | down another 20% today. muggins here bought at 6.80, averaged out at 3.50....... 8k lost thanks to the Hardy Boys. I also suggested to my investment club they buy at 3.50 and they did! I've been ostracised ever since. Please don't tell me about stop loss - I KNOW, I KNOW, I just thought it would come back again. The fool's lament. Even at 60p I told a friend they were worth a punt. Luckily he ignored me. Some tipster huh? As I also lost a bomb on illuminator, mvs and sopheon I think I come close to mug punter of 2001. I also note McKinney & co are getting their options 'adjusted' - poor lambs. And Hardy gets paid £75k for lending 1.5m. Still, he's lost a darn sight more than me, at least I have that to keep me going! I've just worked out that my '3 for 7' options @ 3p will cost me....a tenner! Anyone want to go halves? | silverdays
28/9/2001 16:56 | this will fall to 3p i guarantee it allthough you could have made a quick profit today. | jimted
28/9/2001 16:54 | If there are now 40m shares in issue and 86m are going to be placed at 3p then I can only see the price coming back down again! | aghumra
28/9/2001 16:37 | Drinks all round tonight 8o) | astraleisure
26/9/2001 16:24 | go baby go.................. | twilightzone
24/9/2001 20:13 | A clever investor? Just look at turnover vs. market cap. A good helm could lose some overheads at the expense of some turnover which see a decent profit in the balance sheet. More than justify the market cap. Next big gains to be made from these distressed stocks IMHO. I'm looking at Cedar and Pressac too. TA | traders apprentice

31/8/2001 20:01 | Well anyone who get's around on ADV will know that jimted is full of advice. Make your own decision on what you think. On a serious note any views on today's rise ? I bought in yesterday with a reasonably small stake for a change. Pretty typical considering the rise today. Isnt that always the case. Anyone know anything on this ? Phil. | phillip01
