Euro Tele com today joined the elete 99% club. All the trades look like buying today, ie 50k at 10p etc but some one knows something we dont!

Could be another Redstone and then it might bounce. Cash per share is extreamly negative. Will the live to see Christmas?

i bought some today, this are due for a bounce this week, imo.
Tech stokcs are bouncing of the lows, plus ETE bad results are out, the loan facility in place, so can't see a reason for them not to go to 20 p again

ETE has still to publish their accounts - which I believe might be towards the end of this month. This will drive the price further down - but by not much as most of the bad news is already priced in. I would sit out till then.

From the limited knowledge i have on this stock it does not seem to be just a "general state of market" situation. Since the trading statement in December 2000, it seems to have been hit exceptionally hard!

Surely the acquisition trail in the last few years has left some value. Disposals and restructuring is what we need to hear. Has ETE cashflow problems?

Over on the III board there are plenty of rantings about Warren Hardy and his Y-reg Bentley, otherwise nothing of substance. Can anyone confirm his 40% stake in ETE (from the Y/E accounts please!).

Its just going down due to general market
all telcos are suffering ,so why must this be immune once
the big guns start moving this should folow but in a bigger way in % terms
will move back over 20p very quickly imho

Bottom picking is a nasty business but at 14-16p Mkt cap £6m,
(7/6 @ 12:00) after 165k sale trades (40 @ 16p, 25 @ 15p, 40 @ 15p, 20 @ 15p, 40 @ 14p), it may be worth taking a look at this stock.

Final results are expected late June 2001, and from the trading statement last December most of the BAD news is probably in the price.

Very speculative and there is sure to be plenty of movement one way or the other!

PS Would like to hear some reasoned arguments

Profits can't be that good.

I used to work next door to ETE HQ in Colnbrook so I got to know some of the staff. Rumour has it that they are cutting back on jobs also a couple of big guns left not sure how long ago, I beleive that one was the Marketing Director.

I am also debating whether to get back in but shall wait to see what happens.

The share price may be at its low, and could have a sudden burst up,but there are two negative thing out there at the moment.

The announment of moving to AIM, and Canada Life still offloading its stake now below 3%, I think yesterday sale of 2X70.000 was from them.

So trade cautiously for the moment, I am tempted but I will wait for a while.

We have hit ETE all time low ......and with rumours of good profits on the way .............could this be a time to get back in..........we have all seen this share fall from a great height .............and wondered when to get back in .......well in my opinion this is the time to strike an open a strong position in this one...........the chart looks good for a break out .............and with solid trading today and the past few weeks .......this looks like a good play ..........i bought on the 5th of june .............good luck people !!!

Does anybody have any ideas why the price is still falling on this stock? Is it just the poor sentiment towards the TMT sector or is there any other reason?
