Blueskyes-double dipping that means we now have leros management!excellent-this will now be going places-if they really are going to do what they say and use eum as a consolidating vehicle for projects in the region,this could have huge upside-it all depends if kurzin and co can/will stick with something for more than a few years-if this is their ultimate play,with varvarinskoye as background cash cow and they really do what they profess they want to,in my view this has very very significant upside,but that will all now become clear over the next few years

if this is an ambulance chasing affair then I really doubt the lero is going to be put off from taking over eum. this is then a buying opportunity

Todays the day-lets hope that lero holders let it go through-not sure what happens to $25m loan from lero to eum if they dont-maybe itll just get paid back with time?-would expect to hear something by canadas close today

Either way it is very frustrating and annoying at a time when much troubled EUM PIs looked to start seeing a road to recovery. Even if it is mere "ambulance chasing" it will zap time and money from the company that could be better spent.

Its what stockhouse posters call "ambulance chasing" i.e file a suit against a company that is having near term difficulties,for one of two reasons -either 1-To short the hell out of it(note the good timing for that in this instance)or possibly 2/Hope to achieve a quick out of court settlement to make a quick buck,so that the company gets you off their back and can move on,although i doubt many people would achieve that if there really was no case to answer.
Either way,it was timed to perfection,to create most mayhem and share price fluctuation,so my guess is that its the bay street shorters at work again,hopefully using this as an opportunity to close their shorts before the deal goes through,in which event they could stand to get badly burned,or certainly have trouble getting out easily

The timing of this claim seems very suspect to me-perfect timing to try and screw up the lero deal-i wonder why?

A friend suggested I run the ruler over this so I'm neutral. Sorry if you think I'm scaremongering - not intentional. Well used to mining delays and nothing if not reaslistic after years of hard-won experience. I'm quite sure Varvarinskoye has a future; but who gets it is open to debate.

It's just that I've been here before with Celtic and AngloSiberian Oil. You might be able add others of the ilk. Anyway, good luck - I'll be off, no wish to cause distress.

Dave-not so-i think you are just scaremongering with that view-many unhappy previously on stockhouse with restatement of accounts,so not too suprised-how on earth people expect mining cos to run on schedule without glitches is beyond me-this company still has huge potential-its just typical of sentiment at the moment when people make comments like that
Chris-its going to cause a delay of 2 days in the lero meeting!not exactly years is it-ramp up continues-it will not effect that-look long to the cash-it will come

Good luck, guys - you're going to need it. I'm losing count of the negatives in this set up, but this latest set-back looks suspiciously like a Russian legal-route expropriation of Varvarinskoye - but I may be wrong. At minimum, defending it will be a huge drain on time and money, and cash reserves even post-combination would have been gossamer thin.

would be really interesting to see how the GOLD-Copper MINE is progressing.
Still have to sell hedged gold and losing heaps, each day
,each day its heaps. And its final sad total is somewhere between 20-25% of the open pit RESERVE before EPM get out of fwd sold $585 gold.
Shame.
Stuffed it up. LER to rescue. good £ after bad.

Takeover should be complete this week so hopefully we will get more information over current production and the financial situation.
