16/9/2019 14:15 | It makes sense with SRK and IGS already involved. KKME probably did the translations into chinese. At least its only across the border for CS to travel | aidenabettin
16/9/2019 14:07 | I hope we don't merge with anything south African, regardless of the geology. | excellance
16/9/2019 13:54 | CC, That sure is an impressive list, he's got contacts in all the right places, firstly to get the SS on excellent terms for EUA (not priced in), but also to line up potential buyers. That list includes the who's who in Russian PGM, precious metals (Polyus) and Nickel production. Any one of those companies would be interested in a quality asset like MT, an asset which could increase severalfold with some drilling around the flanks. I think we'll be lucky if we're holding EUA for another 12 months, a rather large cheque could land in EUA's lap in the mean time. Mr Churakov now set up to gain substantially from his new holding in EUA, as you say market totally unaware of the assets we have here or the fact that it now looks like we're being lined up. I guess CS will need something to do with his time after EUA. I'm looking forward to that $26m from Sinosteel hitting EUA's bank account and the start of the pit construction. Regards, Ed. | edgein
16/9/2019 13:51 | Eurasia has, today, also acquired its own enrichment plant from West Kytlim's operating free cash flow and will continue producing hereafter on an owner operator basis with 100% of mine revenue payable to the Eurasia. | excellance
16/9/2019 13:37 | Cc Fully agree with u | book5
16/9/2019 13:34 | Whilst WK was a useful diversion for the company in the early days of the MT deal it is about to take a backseat. For a company that has been so secretive about the Sinosteel deal, today's announcement indicates that the whole kit and kaboodle is about to be revealed. There has been a lot going on behind the scenes but the RNS is giving a heads up. A podcast would be nice! | charles clore
16/9/2019 13:28 | More news soon | book5
16/9/2019 13:26 | I think DS holding so many shares was a problem for the big fund managers, so now he's reduced by incentivising one of their own I'm sure they will be more willing to take a close look. My guess is we'll see funds buying in very soon. | excellance
16/9/2019 13:25 | My assumption Contractor is leaving bcs he did not make enough money He had to sell some plant to Eua to pay for the loan | book5
16/9/2019 13:21 | Now If i was the contractor knowing that this was my last season I'd be knocking my pan out to maximise my income and not resting on my shovel, Therefore I still say that the grades are poor :-( But WK is only for pin money | cool hand kev
16/9/2019 13:12 | WK: Unless we are told otherwise my assumption is that Reason for bad results in WK is that not many rich pockets were found. As I said before millions of years of soil movement creates lots of grade variation in alluvial deposits Looking forward for results of the exploration works reserve estimates , and an explanation of the poor result so far. this will bring knowledge to us | book5
16/9/2019 13:05 | I am getting that Mr. Churakov was paid before in cash and now in shares.?? If so this is very bullish, am I wrong? I believe he will be given some “presents̶ All good | book5
16/9/2019 13:00 | Edge in yes I was thinking the same, the WK won't have been busting a gut, they must have got wind a while back that their days were numbered. Slightly odd as EUA had said that they were much better this year - but I suppose if they think they can take it on and get 100% of the revenues then fair enough. Presumably the contract included a break clause etc | cyberbub
16/9/2019 12:55 | Ed - some resume to be sure! Surprised the market isn't awake yet! As for WK I have always thought EUA would do much better running the operation themselves. | charles clore
16/9/2019 12:52 | Well the contractor probably wasn't incentivised to max production once they got wind of EUA taking back 100% of WK. But there's gonna be plenty of reserves left at Kluchiki for EUA or the potential new owners next season. Regards, Ed. | edgein
16/9/2019 12:50 | The new guy is a M&A expert and deal maker, he was the one that got us the SS deal in the first place from the sounds of it. That's why little £10m EUA got set up with a $176m deal in which their contribution was the cash from the subcontract that Sinosteel is due to pay us. There's no doubt that he's here with those shares that he's earned for the M&A ahead. Also WK now neatly packed back into EUA for the whole package now. Exciting times as we approach the subcontract and the M&A, this could also flush out one of the big PGM or Ni companies that he has contacts with: "Eurasia Mining PLC, the palladium, platinum, rhodium, iridium and gold producing company, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Alexei Churakov as a Strategic Advisor to the board of the Company (the "Board"). Mr. Churakov is a former Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley senior investment banker specialized in the mining sector. He has been involved in multiple mining cross-border M&A transactions operating from Moscow, London and New York. Alexei brings his extensive experience in mining M&A to the Company, as well as his top level contacts with major international and Russian mining and trading companies operating in the platinum group metals, gold and base metals sectors including Lesego Platinum, Boliden Group, Gold Fields, Glencore International, Sumitomo Corporation, Norilsk Nickel, Polyus Gold, Polymetal International, Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, Russian Platinum and many others." Regards, Ed. | edgein
16/9/2019 12:48 | DS is a businessman. He would not give away such a large amount of stock unless he had a very good reason for doing so. I believe we will see multiples of the current share price in the months to come - courtesy of Alexei. A nice move for all of us. | charles clore
16/9/2019 12:42 | 55kg only - explains lack of update. not impressive. rst of news looks more interesting though... | dubjon
16/9/2019 12:29 | If I wanted to give someone 25% of my shares for free, I would be perfectly free to do so. I don't see what's illegal about it. The management have substantial skin in the game, so (like us) they want to minimise or avoid dilution - seemples. | cyberbub
16/9/2019 12:22 | I agree with you chk. Most normal companies offer their execs LTIPs. Things like share options that won't vest for at least 5 years, with a price multiple of the day's share price DS has been raking in free shares in lieu of salary. So, he actually isn't giving away anything that he has paid for. It's all highly unusual. You'd hope they've cleared it with their NOMAD before going ahead with it. AIMHO | abrahe00
16/9/2019 11:36 | They are paying the former GS employee in shares, and he accepts the 'motivation' That is all DS has been very generous Many thanks DS | book5
16/9/2019 11:34 | Or even skilleddiggery as they say in mining circles :) | aidenabettin
16/9/2019 11:29 | I'll believe it when I see it. But I wouldn't put some skulduggery beyond them. | cool hand kev
16/9/2019 11:23 | DS gets a huge premium to the current share price. Giving away a percentage is a no brainer if he gets a tenfold increase in price for the remaining shares he holds. | lew stules
16/9/2019 11:22 | Promotion and another villa in cyprus | aidenabettin |
