So why would anyone want to short a cimpany who was possibly just about to be bought out. Why would you short it when news could drop at any time.Unless you know something maybe?

A DFS is just the final fully examined and thorough stage of the "feasibility study" stage, including all areas of interest, such as environmental, ecological, economic and of course profitability and finance. It is "bankable" meaning that the banks recognise it as a credible document that they can rely on.

It doesn't mean that it will be on time or satisfactory. We'll have to wait and see, but it is likely that any buyer will need that document to be satisfactory in order for finance to be approved.

It should be today or tomorrow, but could be delayed.

Just a week or two ago, institutions were paying 38.5p for these. The share price is now 36.5p

They do have small covering hedges placed in case of no deal, so they are protected from a collapse to say 10p if no deal is the outcome, but they paid 38.5p and presumably expect a deal which increases that valuation.

This was 43p a few days ago, 56.5p now, yet nothing has changed except for the value of our basket has risen. Copper nickel platinum palladium and gold are all rising to multi year highs.

EUA have a regional footprint, millions of proven ounces, and buyers are queueing for a piece of us.

Will we get a decision before Xmas?

We don't know yet, but a Russian newspaper mentioned a consortium of Russian, Chinese and south African parties, and the comments came from one of the Russian EUA directors.

I will be surprised if Anglo, or former Anglo people, are not involved in the consortium. I have stated a few times that I think former Anglo CEO Griffiths left his job to front the new entity controlling MT. Just me speculating but it does make sense.

Just found this news item does anyone know more about it. Platinum explorer Eurasia Mining is to receive a further $500,000 (£338,570) from joint venture partner Anglo American Platinum Corporation, to fund work on its platinum alluvials and tailings deposits in the Urals.
