19/6/2014 17:43 | And if they are good? Does seem to be very volatile though. I just hope they keep the dividend at the same level. | dr biotech
19/6/2014 16:11 | Dunno - this share is as volatile as hell, and based on this afternoon's antics it's heading back to 240p as fast as it can. If the results in August are bad, I'd expect this to get hammered sub-200p. | jbat
17/6/2014 17:07 | What's with the large trades after close at opening price? | leetennis
17/6/2014 17:00 | Total bag of gash today - down about 5% from yesterday's close! Insane volatility on a day to day basis. | jbat
17/6/2014 10:39 | So JP morgan tip them then blackrock sell them. Wonder how often that happens? Its easy to get suspicious, but given the number of brokers/holders there is always going to be some crossover. | dr biotech
17/6/2014 09:15 | Not wholly sure of the reason for the fall today, but a bad timed tip from the telegraph | dr biotech
11/6/2014 10:13 | JP Morgan? That should stimulate some more interest! | jbat

11/6/2014 09:22 | 5% jump this morning in down market. Any news? | deadly
29/5/2014 18:56 | I don't think they are going to buy their own shares. Statement at the Agm merely gives them the power to do so if needed. | dr biotech
29/5/2014 16:33 | Guess if they have started buying back their shares we will see an RNS shortly | danboris2
29/5/2014 16:24 | Last rns mentioned esure would be buying back it's shares.Maybe that's what's loading the price up?What's he arrangement for purchased shares will they get burnt up or held in treasury? | leetennis
29/5/2014 16:15 | Not sure - Admiral and Direct line have also done OK today, so I don't think its anything special. Perhaps news that premiums are hardening or similar | dr biotech
29/5/2014 16:08 | Any ideas on why the big rise today? | danboris2
12/5/2014 13:30 | Hmmmm, time to see if ESUR can make a sustained break above 260p.... | jbat
07/5/2014 19:41 | Albeit a very negative/boring statement, I actually think its a good result bearing in mind floods and a tough environment. Good dividend share and growth will come when price cycle and sentiment for the sector returns. Bought more today. | gutterhead
07/5/2014 18:53 | Jbat - like any share, your own view will be influenced by when you invested and the price that you paid. I first invested here a couple of months ago and have added since. Consequently I'm averaged in at 261p, so I'm quite relaxed about the current price. Market reaction to todays IMS could have been more negative but it wasn't, which indicates that the share is well supported by both the current fundamentals, the yield and the forward prospects. | masurenguy
07/5/2014 18:51 | A snapshot in time of the share price is a view, not a balanced view!! Personally I love an illogical plunge, its the easiest time to make money! | renew
07/5/2014 17:39 | Ok - if I view this share price over the 14 months since flotation, it has returned the princely sum of minus 18%, not including the dividends. How's that for a more balanced view? Youre right about the tiny volume, but that's all the more reason that sharp movements of several % are so irritating - it can't be that the market makers are short on stock and need to shake the tree. I bought this for nice dividend income. I'm still ok with it, but irked that it plunged quite so hard when it went ex-div. | jbat
07/5/2014 16:46 | The share price didn't "tank" in the last half hour. Share price movements should be viewed over a period of months not minutes. The volume of shares traded today was miniscule - circa 0.2% of the shares in issue. The fundamentals remain strong and this can be viewed as a buying opportunity. | masurenguy
07/5/2014 16:34 | And then the share price tanks nearly 2% in the last half hour - this share is enough to drive you mad, lol! | jbat
07/5/2014 16:03 | Numis Securities Add.Target 320.00p Reiteration. | shauney2
07/5/2014 10:25 | opodio 7 May'14 - 403: 220p time again folks I don't think so ! Results pretty much as expected in this 'challenging' environment. Strong balance sheet, no debt, yield over 6% and quality management. This share will reward the patient investor as premiums harden in the future. | masurenguy |
