The Etrade customer services number is 01223 727 400 - that one works fine.

I must admit that placing orders with them was a laborious, slow and uncertain process, but since I got broadband and access to Bridge it is just fine. I must say though that in terms of charges and access to level 2 the UK is years behind Sweden.

Thanks for both the replies & eespecially for the number, I have not used them for ages, just sold a share I have had for a while with them and cannot get in! Have had no positive experiences with the company to be honest.

Had one server blip about 30 minutes ago, but thought it was just Bridge. E-Trade is 0800 387233

No laughing please, I still have this as an account but have not used it for a while. I seem unable to log-in to the site, simply get 'cannot find a server' - is anyone else experiencing this? Tell me they have not gone bust?
