Just noticed that line in the header

"At end August 2020 it had £119m cash"

All the bad news out of the way? How much cash has it burned in less than 12m?

I panic sold in the 30p area. Dodged a bullet here it seems, but where does it go from here? Not inspired to buy back at the moment, but good luck to any bulls of the stock.

Directors have been deluded into thinking they are the next Richard Branson when, in fact, they are never going to make money from aviation and have gambled on ridiculous odds. Andrew Tinkler was right, these guys are morons.

All the bad news?

As far as I can tell this company is still losing money and will do for years to come.

It's not an Amazon start up, its a niche player in a mature industry.

Will it run out of cash again before a profit ?

Can't work out where all the volume has come from today. Sone of the investors that bought at 14p have already exited the door at a 30percent profit, but who is buying those shares given daily volume is sub 500k. Tosca are going to have to make an announcement as they must be above 30percent stake now. If you really believe in the company this will be your lowest entry point as all the bad news is out there now

I'd have turned it into a theme park or racing/go-carting track plus a few helipads. Risk/Reward, I'm glad I exited even at a manageable loss. One doesn't always win. Rather than insist that I make the money back plus profit here, I went elsewhere. Not sure how viable a buyout/takeover is though, I would be reluctant to take a punt, however, I want to see what happens next.

f66 - That is their excuse.

Considering existing shareholders OWN the company - I still dont see the morality of screwing them - everyone with more than e.g. x number of shares should be entitled to a full pro rata share first.

LSE should tighten up the rules but it will not happen because this is easy money for well connected.

If a single shareholder bought 60% of company at 14p that's shows confidence maybe a plan going forward why else would they bother

But the company will say that selling a huge amount of shares to one new shareholder is more efficient than small parcels to lots of existing holders.

More efficient - but not as efficient as they have burned through multi-millions of shareholders funds in the past....

This is a general statement, shareholders get screwed all the time with many companies. It does make me wonder about new investors via a placing - could these include any insider shorters that got wind of the raise and price?

IMHO, new investors should be at the back of the queue after all the PI's have had their fill.

This is the only lemon in my porfolio.

So they just sold the equivalent of 62% of yesterday's company for £55m at 14p a share!

In 2019 they paid a reduced dividend of 9p a share and 18p in the year before that.

So those shareholders who were advocating this as an income stock - that's why I started looking at it, but declined - get royally rogered when the company should never have been paying the high dividends in the first place.

Another damning indictment of management.

The value of this stock is now 1 percent of my portfolio. It's not even worth my time clicking the sell button.

Failure to sort out the company will result in share price going below 10p at some stage in the next 6 months , poor management in place .

You are right. Let's hope management get things right from now onwards. Last thing we want to see is that they use this money to buy a launderette business to go with the airport and biomass business. They need to stay focused on getting what they already own right. I'm almost 40 percent down on this one (luckily it is one of my smaller holdings). I'm not doubling up on this one.

We were supposed to of had financial stability on the last raise

So about 50 percent dilution, but in exchange for that we have financial stability for a while. Now management should focus on getting the 2 remaining businesses that are left right.
