14/10/2017 13:32 | Hi hibberts, that is behind a paywall, any chance of a rough idea of what it says? We are approaching the potential turn I mentioned the other day. On the mid-price chart it is 13/16 October ie now. Last price chart shows the turn on 17 October. gla | bamboo2
12/10/2017 05:56 | Agree with you on the Exec Chairman and the core business. I would however hope that the company can resist any potential early offer from MasterCard on HomeSend, given the obvious progress and the massive potential. | hastings
10/10/2017 11:02 | You and me both madf i was hoping for a bigger markdown on this mornings statement. Hey ho can't win them all. | fozzie
10/10/2017 08:59 | The share price wont be down for long. The Board of eServGlobal understands that precise planning of short and medium-term volume expansion is difficult to predict, but is satisfied that momentum of existing and imminently-expected agreements supports the required financial growth of HomeSend over the next few years. | hibberts
10/10/2017 08:51 | I'm surprised most companies would have been smacked down with this mornings news. I still expect it to fall some but the longer term looks fine. | celeritas
10/10/2017 08:15 | OK thanks, I've just found his website and ordered "the getting started". | stampylong trader
10/10/2017 08:11 | mf, I find averaging-in [and out!] in these kind of situations is a reasonably safe way to build a holding. Another strategy would be to see if the HTF confirms. The biggest obstacle for a chart pattern to reach target is historical resistance, and here this seems to be above the HTF tp. No certainty, hence the averaging-in idea. | bamboo2
10/10/2017 08:06 | Fair enough all star, too greedy! | mad foetus
10/10/2017 08:03 | stampy, I use chart patterns more than traditional TA, and Bulkowski is a great place to start. I have a few of his books, but once you have grasped the basic rules of drawing trendlines, his website is quicker for referring to basic qualifying criteria, pattern characteristics and target setting statistics. | bamboo2
10/10/2017 08:03 | You got a pullback. You just didn't take it;-) | allstar4eva
10/10/2017 08:02 | Ah well, you guys called this better than me. Doesn't look like I'm going to get the pullback. GLA. | mad foetus
10/10/2017 07:31 | "plans to enter the 2018 financial year with a breakeven point of EUR12m in annual revenues"Along with the homesend progress, this is the overwhelming positive from the results - break even run rate down circa 30% on last year. The core task of management is to grow the attractive part (homesend) and downsize the unattractive part (core) - they are evidently achieving this in spades. I do not expect ESG to stay down for long. | wigwammer
10/10/2017 07:23 | Do you recommend a good book to learn please? I guess something from Thomas N. Bulkowski? Thank you. | stampylong trader
10/10/2017 07:17 | OK thank you | stampylong trader
10/10/2017 07:16 | stampy, yes. but not confirmed yet. | bamboo2
10/10/2017 07:16 | Yes, from 15-19 down to 9.7 -11 is pretty major. No doubting the potential of Homesend, but it is difficult to invest in a company that overpromises and underdelivers. But the potential is there, so I am going to hope for a pullback. GLA. | mad foetus
10/10/2017 07:14 | "HTF" is that High Tight Flag Pattern? | stampylong trader
10/10/2017 07:01 | Fully agree re Homesend potential, which could be a game changer for ESG in the relatively near term. Revenue guidance for the core business in June was 15m to 19m eur, so that is a significant undershoot, though. | yorkiemike
10/10/2017 06:57 | MF I'm here for the for the growth potential,,,,,,so sticking around unless the story changes :-) | cheshire man
10/10/2017 06:57 | Keep watching fellas. You've only missed the first 100%.I don't expect it will be down for long. | wigwammer
10/10/2017 06:55 | Disagree, but each to their own. Investors already knew the score with the core business whilst I suspect most recent buyers have come on board for exposure to Homesend. In terms of the latter the news is very positive , I'll be holding and adding on any mark down. | hastings
10/10/2017 06:54 | Hmmm......watching ..........their glass is obviously half-full.... | soundbuy
10/10/2017 06:51 | It's a dressed up profit revenue warning. | celeritas |
