The pace of signups is increasing, 10 from Jan to Oct and the 5 from Oct to Dec.
The biggies are imminent.

finncap have reiterated their 20p target price.

They note,

“As the HS business scales and becomes ever more integral and valuable to Mastercard operations (it is known internally as ‘MasterCard Send for Cross Border'), we naturally expect the major shareholder to seek greater control and to test its JV partners' commitment with hurdles such as this raise. In effect it is a steeplechase; each participant clearing hurdles and seeing if its partners do likewise, with huge value in the prize at the end.

We understand that the HS valuation exercise was minimal; a patent undervaluation clearly being used to establish a low base for later valuation discussions with JV partners.

Indeed, eServGlobal itself would clearly be interested in taking up any BICS interest at this cheap valuation.

eServGlobal recently raised funds in anticipation of this very purpose and thus has sufficient cash not only to hold its own share but take up any additional share from BICS should it be available. On the back of growth expectations, this would be a very attractive investment.”

I’ve added to my holding on the back of today’s news.

Kind regards,

Looks very positive with a further 5 banks worth US$30 to 50m each and signed in such a short timespan, momentum is indeed growing.
Larger banks are imminent so could be any day really.

“Back in January we thought great we have signed one bank, but it'll take months before we see any real volume. Now, we are actually looking at seeing big boulders of volume starting to flow in 2018”.
It is also actually hard to see how Mastercard would expose this to its major customers without having a lot of confidence behind it achieving big volume”.

Mastercard estimates this market to be worth $22 trillion says Conoley, so with HomeSend being massively scalable and not needing lots of people as there is no consumer facing element it looks ideally placed to not only grasp the opportunity but deliver and potentially on a huge scale.

Speaking of the percentage slice for HomeSend Conoley says, “it certainly won't be 1% which had been muted in earlier broker guestimates, but given we are now moving from a $600bn world to that of $22 trillion, I'm kind of not really worried about smaller numbers”.

I'm still intrigued by this share, but struggling to determine if the prospects are as rosy as indicated by FinnCapp for example.

Does anyone have any evidence they can share regarding what fee HomeSend may take per transaction? Either from HS themselves, or from comparable services. It seems FinnCapp have previously based estimates on a 0.5% fee level.

Also, does anyone know if for transactions that flow through MasterCard Send, whether the entity (e.g. bank) pays MasterCard, who then pay a certain amount on to HS, or if the relationship / fee is directly with HS?

When do people expect to see substantial volumes reported through HS, and therefore allow visibility in to fee levels (assuming they disclose HS revenue and transaction volumes) - would this be reporting for y/e 31/12/17?

Many thanks for any assistance.

yes, once pass 13.25p, then into new highs not seen for several years territory. Difference being that the future looks a whole lot more exciting now with HomeSend

decent first base target, imo, is the broker's 20p target.

Getting close to recent highs now.

Once past them we could get a big move up.

Added a few Friday and again this morning after waiting a for the raising to settle in.
The market for ESG is huge but I do think MasterCard will take them out before long which is a shame as this would make a great long term hold.

The Homesend management have said many times that Homesend will be profitable in the last quarter of this year, once this happens we should see more interest from investors.

sounds reasonable, bamboo2, in the meantime there is always the prospect of further contract wins by Homesend.

So if the yr end is Dec 31 rather than Oct 31, can we assume an update will be approx two months later? [Last year was 20 Dec 16]

Yes, movement for first time in ages, even better, it's upward movement!
With funding all done and dusted and Mastercard pushing Homesend, everything is set fair here for good gains, imo.
