We're very proud to announce that our Escape Hunt venues across the UK have been awarded Tripadvisor "Travellers' Choice 2020", which means we've been recognised as one of the top 10% of attractions worldwide!

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing customers who have visited, loved our experiences, and taken the time to review and give us 5 stars - we couldn't have done this without you!

This week’s Thursday bookings total 154 with the usual 20% walk-in addition, so they continue to demonstrate the upward trend.

If we multiply todays figure for the 4 days @ an average £75 booking, we are now running @ £46K a week and if divided by the venues that is over £5K a week for each one based on just a 4 day week.

You must think the UK venues generating £5K a week are more than washing their face!

Factor in the much-improved margins due to the 5% VAT and rate relief, furlough payments and now talk of a 50% rent deduction for the hospitality sector:

The fact they have Five Million Pounds in the bank and an ultra-cautious Chairman tells me they will weather this storm and sail through in safety.

* All the outdoor games disappeared from the Leeds venue so I phoned them and apparently they had a big group booking so you can add an additional 10 bookings to Thursdays booking count giving us 164 in total.

I've just checked Reading where the landlord was threatening them with litigation for non payment on the rent/service charge and there's 24 bookings for next week in the system which on your £75pr assumption would come in at around £1800 takings for the week. I think it's fair to add another £1000 for further bookings/walk ins so lets call takings £3000 inc for the week.

The rent is say £2000 a week including service charge (no business rates) plus staff running the venue 'off furlough' will get salaries so add another say 1k for a four day week, so overall £3000 expenses for the week. I won't include head office expenses but the last report did state that 15 continued on the payroll surprisingly, I'm guessing that's mostly the management and a few game designers.

It is a horrendous time for anyone in hospitality as it's been crushed by social distancing but when the kids go back to school and the furlough scheme ends along with so many twenty somethings without a job then I would expect esc's takings to fall off a cliff, especially with no corporate business remaining in Reading. I do think that they are onto something with the online games but it won't make up for the ongoing site losses imho. If they were burning cash prior to C-19 what chance now? I'm thinking 1p-3p by January and mainly because of the remaining cash from the last raise.

A little insight into the bounce back we are seeing in Thursday bookings.

I have added 20% to account for the walk ins on the day.

If you multiply todays figure for the 4 days @ an average £75 booking we are running @ £42K a week which isn’t too shabby.

Time to take a pizza of @EscapeHuntUK ?"Just four years ago the company's share price touched £1.50. Backed by new Investors, and with the steady expansion of its franchise, #ESC share price – currently around 7p – may have a long upwards journey ahead"https://total-market-solutions.com/2020/08/05/escape-hunt-4/

However, the online game will also remain a “core part” of the business’s strategy.

This Company is valued at £6m with £5m in cash, the whole business is in for £1m, that is cheap.
the Board is encouraged by the current level of demand, which is growing each week.

Game changing RNS seems to have been missed by the masses. Bounce to 60p+ (year high) with remote home based escape challenges. Impossible to buy any large amount - try it. Once the MMs let this go, it will shoot.
