They are in testing for virtual remote games which I fervently believe is transformational for this business.

Well, it's really 9.5p now (full ASK being paid).

Double figures tomorrow should not be out of the question, I'm thinking.

So you have a situation whereby one landlord has been paid in full and will continue to get paid, the others haven't and can swivel.

Hmmmm.

The only serious dispute was with Sykes Capital and they have recently confirmed:

“Escape Hunt has since paid its rent in full and has zero arrears”

It is all in the public domain if you take the trouble to look.

Ok, so lets try this question then. Given that the government moratorium on landlords issuing winding up orders upon commercial tennants for non payment of rent expires on June 30th is it likely that that Escape Hunt may be issued with a winding up order/s early next month? Especially given the Reading landlords stance as mentioned in the FT article above!!

I suspect given that the company updated shareholders (and by default landlords) on the current cash position the landlords would consider that an easy way to secure immediate payment on both the March and June quarter, no doubt also desperately needing funds their end. Of course that would trigger the collapse of Escape Hunt and the landlords would be left with a vacant worthless units, albeit no rates liability anymore. Problem is I suspect that by the time Escape Hunt are able to open up (September-October?) at perhaps 25%-50% capacity that the September quarter will also be in default.

I get the promo video for the next financing/share dilution but surely they missed the massive elephant in the room on that interview is how you run an escape room if the government continues its social distancing policy over the hospitality sector??

With only small groups in a room mostly family and friends and easily adapted to social distancing together with steam cleaning between games it’s business as usual...eventually!

When Escape Hunt releases a statement saying that they have cash but only enough to last a couple of months in the current situation then you can't really blame landlords for grabbing what they can, whilst they can.

With all venues in the UK closed and the majority of franchises also closed they'll do well to keep this afloat with remaining cash on account. I only had a very quick check but Australia and Kuwait still open, the former running at around 4% capacity and the latter I didn't see a single booking in the system. It was exceptionally unlucky to have all venues across the world in a precipitous drop in business simultaneously, so unusual. Johnson's speech on the 16th would have triggered a UK tsunami of cancellations and refund requests I suspect.

On the plus side I'm guessing that they have no lease responsibility (acting as guarantor) in any of the franchisee premises with liability being held solely by the franchisor?

Seems as though many escape rooms are now doing the responsible thing and not playing a part in propagating COVID19 by temporarily closing their doors and following government health advice.

'At a site level, we have implemented a more stringent cleaning regime and have taken other steps to protect staff and customers and for the moment, sites remain open for business.'

Lol are they serious?? They should enlighten governments of the secret of removing COVID19, especially from a closed building environment such as escape rooms where the public touch and pick up everything.

.........the Board will continue to monitor the Group’s funding requirements closely and will proactively explore all options available.

Hmmmmm!
