18/3/2016 10:09 | Hi Bishan, I was trying to transfer to iWeb and they informed me the transfer was cancelled due to CREST. Incredible really as they suggested this as an option and can't do squat diddly. Italic from III:- .....the issue currently lies with the CREST Transfer & Settlement System, which the vast majority of brokers use to accept transfers. Our Transfers and Settlement Team are actively working with our International Custodian to do all they can to move EROS through the system, however at the moment this is proving to be a slow process, for which I do apologise. At the moment your transfer is on hold until we can resolve this issue Another chaser and response Please accept my apologies for the late response, I have checked for an update on CREST but at present there has been no change. | smurfy2001
18/3/2016 09:39 | bonds on a rocket booster today | eurofox
18/3/2016 08:32 | Hi Smurfy I've been very lax about my transfer out of iii, are you now saying they cannot transfer out of their accounts at all?? That is ridiculous and I would be happy to contact them along the same lines, if you would like to elaborate. If you prefer to take it off line then gazzaisalegend@hotma Best | bishan bedi
18/3/2016 08:17 | Good luck with III, transferred my pension , isa etc after selftrade taken over. Almost one year on still not sorted, they now want me to pay my annual pension fee again as they have no record of payment. Hope Eros continue up as I still have bonds. They dropped so much I that it was either take a big loss or hope that they would come back. Held as I was working with a number of Indian nationals who were movie mad and with a growing middle class. | petes5
17/3/2016 20:20 | Smurfy, why can't you sell with III? my holding is with III too. I live in the US and am a tax payer there. When the shares were riding high I didn't want to trigger a capital gains whilst working here and fill out all those forms etc. Holding has cost me dear - I hope they recover in time for me being back in the UK and being a tax payer there. Regards, | foot in mouth

07/3/2016 12:15 | "Good value" as in "dirt cheap if they're not going to zero"? ;) They seem "cheap" to me mainly because I don't think zero is on even if Eros were to go pop, being Senior Debt. Also the longer nothing comes out the woodwork, the less likely anything will. Which is different from saying "they're definitely safe" of course. At some point Eros need to start making genuine cash profit or else only a new debt or share issue in 2021 will redeem Ero1. But GRY is daft and paying the coupon has got to be a priority, and the last (poor) results felt like a bit more realism on the accounts. | spectoacc
04/3/2016 15:56 | The bonds have been gradually moving up of late; they look good value imo. | valhamos
18/2/2016 23:28 | That's why I was thinking advertising revenues would bring in more than subscriptions. How much that might amount to isn't clear. | blusteradjuster
18/2/2016 11:38 | Problem is that if only 1% paying they have to subsidise the costs for the 99% who aren't. It isn't free to run a streaming media business as it costs a lot of bandwidth. Unless they increase the paying proportion substantially at this rate they'll be hugely loss making. Making 0.77c per user e.g. 1% of 77c at the lower end is only $284K/mnt and the service probably costs a lot more than that to run. Log | loglorry1
18/2/2016 10:46 | netflix is apparently charging $8 dollars against eros max $1.54 with mainly western content in India. | lonrho
18/2/2016 10:39 | ErosNow has the most potential imo. Still very much a jam tomorrow story though. I'd guess revenues would come from adverts rather than subscriptions, especially early on. Eros Now had 30 million registered users worldwide as of September 30, 2015 and continues to demonstrate strong growth, garnering over 37 million registered users across WAP, APP and Web as of December 31, 2015. While ErosNow continues to expand its registered user base with its platform agnostic distribution strategy targeting the 1 billion plus mobile subscriber base of India, we are now turning our focus to monetization. The Company’s new two-tier premium pricing in India of Rs 50 ($0.77) and Rs 100 ($1.54) per month, which launched in December, 2015, is gaining traction. The Company continues to progress in converting its registered users to paying subscribers, currently at under 1% of its user base, and expects to reach 1 million paying subscribers by the end of Fiscal Year 2017. | blusteradjuster

01/2/2016 20:57 | Still hanging in there with you Foot in mouth, - mokhan2, a nice move up indeed, can only see that the Analysts ratings have improved towards Eros, the latest shows one rating a sell, 3 a hold and 4 a buy. with a $20 price target. Apart from that its just the usual movie news . | michael156
01/2/2016 15:51 | Nice rise today, I wonder what's causing it? | mokhan2
29/12/2015 10:17 | EROS' new release Bajirao Mastani is a global blockbuster - already up to 200 crore, and lots more to come over the next couple of weeks with no new releases against it: | rivaldo
15/12/2015 17:49 | Yep, just Eros and every other US listed stock. | hpcg |
