12/8/2015 19:55 | Yes, there's a big element of chance in investing, speedsgh. I sold some at around $20 but thankfully kept much more. I would not have credited the rise we've seen, but am prepared to let it run, risking downturns, as the longer term does seem pretty bright. Conversely, GBO, in which I have a larger holding, has an even more promising future and yet ( Murphy's law or Sod's law), it is still languishing at a very lowly rating. Time will put it right, I'm sure, but it is astonishing how radically differently growth shares are seen and valued by the market - albeit one is on the NYSE and the other on AIM. In due course GBO will either transfer to the USA, probably, NASDAQ, or have a dual listing, then we shall almost certainly see it take off just as EROS has done. | aimingupward2
12/8/2015 13:46 | riv et al - well done for sticking with EROS. you are now reaping the rewards of its long touted potential. i regrettably sold out at c$17 taking a respectable profit at the time. Having held for 3yrs or so I had become somewhat of a stale bull. more fool me. mind you i am sure that there is a certain amount of murphy's law with respect to investing. those that you hold for the long term tend to fail to realise their hoped for potential whilst those sold for a rapid profit tend to keep shooting up towards the stars. [large sigh] | speedsgh

11/8/2015 07:28 | Good spot boonboon. Srimanthudu has made 75 crore, or $11.7m, on its opening weekend alone - and it cost less than $10m to make! As you say, EROS are on a tear at present. The Q2 results should be pretty pleasant reading, but Q3 must be a monster quarter. | rivaldo

06/8/2015 20:09 | Indeed! Probably a healthy shake out. It's recovering pretty well though - picked up $3 from the low point and hasn't taken long to do it. | aimingupward2

30/7/2015 21:07 | Dear me ! I can only say that should you wish to transfer, I have found TD Diirect to be excellent since my trading a/c was transferred there by Natwest when they ceased offering their service. However, no doubt there are several other perfectly good brokers who offer overseas as well as UK trading. | aimingupward2 |
