Market purchase of shares by the Company's employee benefit trust
The Company today confirms that on 27 July 2018, Estera Trust (Jersey) Limited, acting as Trustee of The Equiniti Group Employee Benefit Trust (the EBT), purchased in the market 6,000,000 Ordinary Shares of GBP0.001 each in the capital of the Company (Shares) at a price of GBP2.3198 per share.
The EBT holds Shares for the benefit of the Company's employees, and in particular for satisfying the vesting of awards made under the Company's various employee share incentive plans.
Following the above transaction, the EBT holds 6,000,000 Shares for the above purpose, representing 1.64% of the Company's issued share capital with voting rights.
