Hopefully the reason given, to settle tax issues, is the right one. A 2.3% drop at the moment, but considering the standard mood swings of the sp, nothing to worry about.

Looking at the PCAs (Persons Closely Associated), at least they believe in the company enough to involve their wives.

It has just hit 207.75p (+4p) as a mid-price adjustment today. That may not hold until close, but it is jumping up on an otherwise slightly off-beat FTSE.

Pull back over with...onwards and upwards now?

good write up in Motley Fool today. Neil Woodford is a fan.

And another mid-day dive at -4p (2%)...
It is well traded, the spread is 0.3%. Like many, I just cannot fathom why it jumps up and down like that.

It sort of goes back to 200p or thereabout at close, as seen recently, so there is a bit of consistency; but this would be hell to guess the value of a sell-order "at best" in any given day.

Wow choppy day back to 200 Any reason for the large swing?

Going about like a yo-yo again, down to 193.750p at the moment.

I think if we punch through 200 we can see an extra 20 on this in the next few weeks or month.

Ding! Ding! Ding!
EQN has hit 200 at close.

I saw it at a 203 mid-price during the day too.

Yep, highest close ever so far.
Don't know what pushed it by 4.75p today (2.5%) but I shall not complain.

The 200-220p expected range has been touted by brokers/forecasters since even before the IPO. It should hopefully become reality soon.
Ticking above 190p at the moment.

Not a bad horse to have bet on, even at IPO price (165p if I recall correctly), but until now "a bit meh" as Bart Simpson would say.

200p should be easily achieveable. IMHO. most broker targets are above an share price of 200p.

Looks like the hangover from that big offload has about cleared so should be few obstacles to £2 in the near term.

My current effective yield is only 1.4%; better than a cash ISA for sure, but a bit short of the great returns promised in the original prospectus. I would not mind a bit of excitement in the share price indeed.

I am definitely long term on this one, but had expected a sharper, and quicker, take-off from the 165p IPO. We should be sailing around 220p right now according to last year's forecasts/expectations.

Oh well... at least I am making pennies, which is still better than losing pounds.

I guess the question is.....when will Advent offload their last 8%.
The share price seems to be marking time waiting for the event.

1.64p per share as a dividend today.

Good point Salpara. I had forgotten about Advent (the original owners) still holding a lot of shares. Their aim has always been to offload at some point.

Held up pretty well today considering the 12% dump!
Only 8% more to go!
The share price was always going to struggle until this very large overhang is cleared.

revenue/profit increasing.

debt coming down nicely (previously debt was at scary levels)

This from the Chief Executive:

'Equiniti continues to win business from new and existing clients, positioning the Group well to deliver on its organic growth guidance for the full year...'

'Demand for our technology and compliance-led services has accelerated in the period'

Yep, they are paying their bills and are slowly putting that story about excessive debt load at IPO behind them.

I like the fact that they do not use Brexit as an excuse for anything but instead state that "A clear focus on the UK and on complex and regulated markets ensures some insulation from current market uncertainty."

Share price up a bit (1p at the moment), not exactly on fire though.

The current forecast on the FT puts it between GBX 200 and GBX 245 within a year (2 Buy and 3 Outperform). I guess the tepid enthusiasm for the shares is down to EQN qualifying as a "financial", a tag not really loved by the markets at the moment.

Steady as she goes I think best describes the results.
I didnt take a stake prior to the results as I have been burnt one time too many in the last year doing that!
While I see them as a solid hold I am not sure that they are strong enough to make me buy in.
