23/5/2016 12:10 | "The Chief Executive Officer, Oando Energy Resources, Mr. Pade Durotoye, said, “The completion of this transaction brings us to another pivotal point in our journey as OER. We listed this organisation on the Toronto Stock Exchange in July 2012 and have enjoyed the benefits of being a listed company in this jurisdiction, having always conformed to the highest reporting and corporate governance standards of the exchange" ho ho ho | 2lb
15/5/2016 17:28 | Teranga-1 Adds to Bounty Offshore Senegal Tuesday, May 10, 2016 Kosmos Energy added to the recent successful exploration programs offshore Senegal with the drilling of its Teranga-1 well. The well, located on the Cayar Offshore Profond, resulted in a significant natural gas discovery. The Teranga-1 well was drilled to a total depth of 4,485 meters and encountered 31 meters of net gas pay in good quality reservoir in the Lower Cenomanian objective. Well results confirm that a prolific inboard gas fairway extends approximately 200 km from the Marsouin-1 well in Mauritania through the Greater Tortue area on the maritime boundary to the Teranga-1 well in Senegal. The company has now drilled five consecutive successful exploration and appraisal wells in this fairway with a 100% success rate. In the process, the company has discovered a gross Pmean resource of approximately 25 Tcf and estimates the fairway may hold more than 50 Tcf of resource potential. Andrew G. Inglis, chairman and chief executive officer, said: “Our continuing exploration success demonstrates we have opened a super-major scale basin offshore Mauritania and Senegal with world-class resource potential. Given the scale and quality of the gas resource discovered along the inboard trend, our focus is to move this resource through to development. Our forward exploration plan is to mature the two independent tests with oil potential in northern Mauritania and in the outboard of Mauritania and Senegal for drilling in 2017.” | hooi495
15/5/2016 09:41 | Help me please, when did we get sent a £5 valuation ? | unabkxb
14/5/2016 17:45 | ok, fair point, perhaps because they don't have to - if there was some real value and they (Oando) wanted it but had to keep us quiet for them to get into position then perhaps they would do that but they (Oando) don't need to do anything to keep us at bay because they know we won't/can't do anything. To add to the mix there is this Peak saga. Does anyone apart from a few in Oando and Peak know what their deal/plan is? All I am suggesting is that if any judgement was unenforceable then my this protracted charade for years? Is it really true that the only option is to keep Peak going so the whole licence doesn't go back to the government? Are the shareholders entitled to know the truth? All I'm suggesting is that statement put out to give Peak another extension and finance or else given all the years going through the courts doesn't stack up. So if that is a fib then what else is? | geordieduke2
14/5/2016 12:44 | But being fraudulent in Nigeria appears to be a business attribute. Falling back on any external governance provided by BVI and UK, who according to recent news are even more corrupt but until recently more overtly, is nigh on impossible. When Oando were listing on TSX we were told to stf up or else! Now they're not on TSX. The establishment in Nigeria, BVI or UK reward this sort of stuff not penalise it. Those involved could well get OBEs for their achievements. | geordieduke2
14/5/2016 11:53 | If that deal/link exists and can be proved that would be fraud surely ? | exile
14/5/2016 11:53 | .Actually what you have said is not news to me as I was told this was the case about 6 yrs ago. | exile
14/5/2016 11:38 | So what you are saying is that Oando and Peak are effectively the same company in all but name ? edit : I meant EEL and Peak | exile
13/5/2016 14:48 | The update on Peak is exactly the same as every other Peak update for the past 10 years....they are a bunch of crooks and there is nothing we can do about it.... | 2lb
13/5/2016 14:25 | I find it appalling that no one has come forward with any news re the last Peak dead-line. But then is any one surprised? The BOD have been corrupted by their Nigerian masters, IMHO. | goulding1215
11/5/2016 22:59 | ok but the UK is arguably complicit in all this corruption worldwide so I doubt anyone in UK establishment will give a toss. They'll more likely chuck it in the bin or put a 30 year gagging order until all those that profit can claim dementia so they're unable to stand trial. Unfortunately in life you can't rely on other to fight your battles and as we have no pride or stomach for a fight this is a lost cause. | geordieduke2
11/5/2016 14:40 | was it 167 million my memory is fading frightening really,i do rue the day i ever came across AIM and EEL | paulie1

10/5/2016 19:39 | Well, I must be one those "reality deniers" who is still hopeful of some settlement eventually. Maybe for your own good GD2, I would remove the names as you could be liable, that's unless you have evidence of course. | muto
10/5/2016 18:41 | How many years has it taken for our David to work that one out. | muto
10/5/2016 17:36 | does the prime minister know about equator exploration? if not someone should tell him. | wantmorethan24p |
