Yes, a partial bid would be prefable,as a full bid may be embarassing to shareholders, which would not represent value nor potential. Problem is PAL need the funding, I just hope they don't get pushed into a corner and have no aces up their sleeve.
One hopefull point is directors have options at 17p which is way out of court !!!

I think Siva Group has financial probs in India, thats why it has not yet stumped up the cash, which then caused price collapse.........domino effect.

WJ what i can not understand in all this is why would Biopalm as 20% shareholder renague on the loan commitment for the palm project as it clearly undermined the value of their own shareholding in the business??

unless they new a bid was in the offing and they wanted out it just does not add up?

see Bioplam own 40 million odd shares infact if and when they disclose that will be about 117 million held by notified holders thats nearly 60% of shares so they will hold sway over any offer nothing pi's will be able to do to influence any vote. Blakney Biopalm L&G and Praetorian hold the cards?

see Pretorian have more than is stated on the company web site and L&G are not even listed on web site, so when did they buy there 9.7 million shares?

anyone who purchased after first announcement of bid on 16th october is sitting on a loss hence i guess why MM's are more than happy to leave price here as they will pick up some cheap shares as no one is willing to add or any new buyers willing to take a punt. so as week holders give up they have to sell at a loss?

whilst bid due dillagence is going on by KLK, EPO must still be pursuing the issue with Biopalm as to why they have not held to their end of bargain in the first place? we could still get news on that front which could liven up the bid price?

Well clearly there was some sort of leek about the possible bid that cause the share price to double befor the news broke !

So maybe we will see some early trade action just before any further news breaks the direction of trades may indicate the news be it positive or negative

Looks like someone got their electricity reconnected, the name appearing over many bbs. I bet not many are anything other than negative drivel though.

warwick69 - 17 Oct 2013 - 18:39 - 625 of 668If the takeover was such a foregone conclusion which would surely be higher than 6.5 p why isn't the price going up as more speculators jump on board!!Discus?............Very good question

I hope KLK are not going to wait until the last hour to make any announcement they have to make offer by 12th Nov almost half way through offer period!!

Thought there would have been a lot more trading in this prior to bid deadline

well no equity has ever been issued below 6p which I guess is why the share price is were it is.

we had equity issued at 6p, 10p and around 30p
we have warrants sitting at 12.5p and 15p
and options at 17.5p

Bio palm paid 15p for their 33,000,000 shares not yet declared

so all to play for

hmm took a while for the directors to RNS their holdings, does this mean we have moved a step closer to a deal, imo many peeps going to miss the boat here.
