Result of AGM

EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT), the technology solution company for waste gasification to energy projects, announces that its 2018 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") was held today at the Cork International Hotel, Cork.

All resolutions put to shareholders were duly passed, with the exception of Resolution 3, to re-elect Executive Director, Mr. Luis Sanchez. This move is in line with the previously stated plan, as announced on 27 September 2018, to reduce the representation on the Board of EBIOSS from two to one. Luis Sanchez will now leave the Board and has also tendered his resignation from the Company with immediate effect.

Ian Pearson, Non-Executive Chairman, said: "On behalf of the Board we would like to thank Luis for his contribution to EQTEC over the years and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
