14/7/2021 11:21 | From LSE: There is news upcoming on the UK RDF projects. Deeside and Billingham require 10 and 25mw capable steam turbines, and as Siemens are industry leaders with their steam 4.0 technology. Siemens are an existing eqtec partner and also a cogeneration power plant Engineering procurement Company. Makes me wonder if Siemens will win the order. Also, could there be a strengthening of the Siemens/Eqtec partnership similar to what happened between ABB and AFC earlier in the year, or between Bosch and CWR a few years ago. Jenbacher used to be owned by General Electric who will have designed and installed the switchgear at all jenbacher equipped eqtec plants built before 2018.... Advent International GE and the private equity group Advent International completed Advent's $3.25 billion acquisition of GE's Distributed Power business today. The unit, now rebranded as INNIO, is best known for manufacturing the Jenbacher and Waukesha gas engines that generate electricity for towns and factories around the world.6 Nov 2018 Plants with steam boilers which will include Billingham and Deeside (quite different from jenbacher plants), will likely have systems designed and installed by Siemens which will include the steam turbine(s) , alternators and switchgear to load balance and deliver the power to the grid. | stevea171
14/7/2021 11:21 | EQT well under valued compared to PHE according to this detailed analysis, 5 pages, last month. AIM INVESTOR EQTEC vs POWERHOUSE Waste-to-Energy Stocks Under the Spotlight June 2021 The global waste-to-energy market is estimated to be worth $18 billion and is expected to reach $29 billion by 2026. In this report we are going to dissect two UK stocks at the forefront of implementing the next generation of waste-to-energy technology, EQTEC and Powerhouse Energy. Both stocks are listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and both stocks have undergone a 50% pullback from their February highs. We compare and contrast the differing technologies and financial outlooks of these two companies in a bid to establish, which, if any, are worth allocating a percentage of your hard-earned investment capital. Mkt Cap. EQTEC: £124 million. PHE: £223 million Regency View: EQTEC comes out on top While both companies are likely to play a pivotal role in our carbon-neutral future, EQTEC come out on top in almost every department... EQTEC’s technology has very low emissions and can be implemented across a broad spectrum of waste projects. Most significantly, EQTEC have made real progress in commercialising their offering and global sales are projected to grow at an exponential rate during the next three years – taking their bottom line into the black. The shares are currently lacking a technical catalyst but, for the patient investor, EQTEC looks like a great way to play the renewable energy boom. | stevea171

13/7/2021 23:04 | Based on the link in Nick’s post 1226, financial close on one or better still all of the uk projects would surely get us to a whole new valuation…R Our UK RDF-to-energy projects are: Billingham, Teeside; Southport, Merseyside; and Deeside, Flintshire. They are all making good progress towards financial close and EQTEC will announce more details in our next trading update to the market. Once operational, they'll transform municipal waste into valuable green electricity and heat using our Advanced Gasification Technology. 13/7/2021 08:28 | Looks like the panic selling is over, could of put a double bottom in and all being well see a recovery from here. North Folk looks to of been anticipated anyway, with it being a strategic investment rather than just another job. | brut winky

12/7/2021 16:05 | All this grief on someone else’s project! They must really want a demonstration plant in “The Golden State.” | davidblack
12/7/2021 15:53 | Not an uncommon issue that a Native Indian community thinks everyone else should fund the downside. Especially as the State and Federals do so regularly out of guilt for having legally sanctioned the ethnic cleansing of 6m of them. But that guilt issue does really work when it’s an Irish entity run by a Venezuelan. So that might explain some of the Community’s irritation that this time there will be no free lunch. | davidblack

12/7/2021 14:44 | Well done EQT for correcting the North Fork people responsible for those unhelpful meeting notes, that someone was making casual accusations about project participants in public is pretty amateur and indicative of where things have been going wrong. There are always different sides to every story, EQTs account rings true while there are clearly issues. Unfortunate damage has been done, well done whoever has used this as an opportunity to add some, tempting isn't it especially as there might be a good news update on the way. I do not understand the objection to proceeding, the project steering committee has a proposal for EQT to fund this to completion in exchange for a major stake. EQT notes that North Fork members signed off the proposal. It seems EQT is prepared to commit but elements of the North Fork community are reluctant. As has been suggested EQT are probably going the extra mile in good faith for reasons beyond the project itself. Hopefully they will find a way forward, and stop bickering in public, it is in everyone's interests. | marktime1231
12/7/2021 14:19 | You've put a lot of thought into being offended by me making a throwaway comment about the conduct of the voluntary group that run NF. As long as you realise that isn't the same as being virtuous. | cmackay

12/7/2021 13:35 | Perhaps, but then lots of non vegans may have been equally inclined at those particular festivals; it's the derisory intimation of a particular group that I object to. | aja2
12/7/2021 12:44 | Will be the same as any committee based organisation, a lot of talking and competition for who does the most of it and with nothing coming out of it but hot air. Looks like EQT ave envisaged the scenario all along and have put funding in place to get it finished with the sole propose of using it to gat more business in the US. News should start to turn positive generally for EQT when they start announcing what they've bought with the placing cash. | brut winky
12/7/2021 12:19 | What do you define as drugs though? I know plenty of vegan weed heads and a couple that take other illicit substances but I agree, the latter is few and far between. | dougy1 |
