Strange announcement today. I can't make much sense from it. It is being done to create distributable reserves but then it has no intentions of paying. It may do subject to performance of the company.

Why not - they're sitting on nearly as much cash as they're valued at. I imagine shareholders are asking if you're not going to do anything with that you need to give some back to us as special dividends.

Ultimately a capital reduction request means ROCE will go up making this a better investment.

Yes, thought they clearly state that there are no plans currently for a divi. So why set this in motion now???

RNS - Reduction of Capital. Means big dividends to come here. Excellent news.

"...The effect of the proposed Reduction of Capital, if approved by shareholders at the General Meeting , will be to create distributable reserves of the Company. This would permit the Company to make distributions to its shareholders in the future, subject to the Company's financial performance."

I think this share is interesting approx. 10 -20 individuals only daily , where writing each to other "how cheap is the share " they believe that can go the price higher.
If you know , a simple low of phisics is that : the internal forces they can't move a thing eg. if someone blow - inside a boat- direct to foresail then the boat no moves.
For this reason its very easy one small amount of "investors" to manipulate the price up or down with no significant result.
