"As announced on 4 January 2023, new legislation, Law No. 2805-IX, relating to the natural resources sector has been enacted in Ukraine, which will come into force on 28 March 2023. This legislation is a substantial package of new procedures and reforms designed to improve the regulatory process relating to the exploration and development of natural resources in Ukraine. However, the legislation includes provisions that if the ultimate beneficial owner of a mineral or hydrocarbon licence becomes the subject of sanctions in Ukraine, then the Ukrainian State Authorities may suspend or revoke that licence. In light of the imposition of the restrictive measures (sanctions) by the Ukrainian Authorities against Vadym Novynskyi, who holds a major indirect shareholding interest in the Company, as announced on 9 December 2022 [25.099%], the Company is investigating whether the Company's hydrocarbon extraction licences may be adversely affected by these provisions in the new law."

Smart Holding Group holds and controls the above 25.099%.

17th January. "Smart Holding, a major Ukraine-based industrial group and an international investor, today announces the completion of the latest round of its on-going restructuring.

As part of the restructuring, the Founder of Smart Holding, Vadym Novynskyi has decided to dispose of his shares in the company, placing his ownership stake into a trust. Corresponding Smart Trust and Step Trust agreements were concluded in November 2022 and registered by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. The trustees are highly qualified fiduciary administrators appointed in accordance with the licensing terms of Cypriot legislation. Accordingly, the trustees currently fully own, control and manage the Group's assets.

Pursuant to the above, as at the current date, Mr Novynskyi holds no beneficial interest in the Group, nor exercises any control over the Group's activities or processes. Mr Novynskyi, who has not taken part in the running or the management of Smart Holding since 2013, has decided to focus all of his energies to pursue his private interests."

So our licences are safe, imo, but check our January RNS's for yourself.

I don't think may PIs here are asking the right questions about Enwell.
Investors here need to research the oligarch that owns 90% of its shares, paying particular attention to his previous citizenship and political affiliations and strong pro-Russian sympathies. Given the not entirely correct and above board workings of the Ukrainian legal system, IMO there is very little chance that he will manage to hold onto his assets in Ukraine after the end of the war. (This is assuming that the war end ins Ukrainian victory or stalemate, of course).
In fact, I don't see any future for him in a free Ukraine at all.
Not an investor, but I hope this helps.

I'm looking at this one - expect some capital to come over from JKX. But they need to reassure new investors ENW is open for business.

El-tel I initially thought that. However the JKX RNS yesterday. Is somewhat sobering for ENW investors.Quite simply the rug has been pulled out over there.. Need a statement not going to happen here also!

As a long term investor, I am pleased to see the improvements but ENW/RPT has a habit of kicking shareholders in the teeth.

On Dividends, from the results today:

"On 25 February 2021, the Company completed a reduction of its share capital through the cancellation of its entire share premium account. This reduction of capital created distributable reserves of the Company, which enables the Company to make distributions to its shareholders in the future, subject to the Company's financial performance.

However, the Company is not indicating any commitment, and does not have any current intention, to make any distributions to shareholders".

I think this share is interesting approx. 10 -20 individuals only daily , where writing each to other "how cheap is the share " they believe that can go the price higher.
If you know , a simple low of phisics is that : the internal forces they can't move a thing eg. if someone blow - inside a boat- direct to foresail then the boat no moves.
For this reason its very easy one small amount of "investors" to manipulate the price up or down with no significant result.

I wonder if he is picking up a few more shares... you seem very 'worried' he has been a substantial shareholder here for around a year and as per the public statements is happy for the company to just keep bringing into the cash and running things as they were. I suspect the rebranding has been discussed and he is looking for a higher valuation, which will be good for all investors. This is worth much more than currently priced at and patience has to be the word here but this will come good. Natural gas cycle has bottomed imo - jkx have said similar and I think the only way is up here.

Seems to be a good update with an increase in production of %12.5 compared to 2Q of 2019. Yet the share price is still stagnant?? Looks like this new name didn't do us or RPT any good. It has taken RPT off investors map. Its not as yet even listed on the British bulls website.
