On page 11 of Presentation for Open offer. On Enquest website.

New RBL of $600 million agreed with initial coupon of 4.25%;
agreement incentivises refinance of high yield bonds

And from prospectus that will be reduced to 4% and facility extended for 5yrs if Bonds refinanced by Oct 2022

We nearly have the ducks in a row refinance brilliant result 4.25%, Open offer all picked up not needing AB's backstop, GE deal closing next, then refinance of Bonds during next 12 months and we are clear for dividends and capex from revenue.

Any thoughts on them getting the placing done and dusted well before completion of the asset buy? Personally, I think it is good news.

I asme it's this Thursday we get the results . So am quite keen to see if we reach 30 as I had forecasted at beginning of summer . Still long and added the 19s top up which was a gift. Not bad for a 15 months hold . Over 100% up here. Plenty to go is my gut feel . Thursday will give that view a boost I think. The equity swap forces the other side to buy shares when price rises to maintain the hedge when settled

Quarterly updates are as regular as clockwork. Except ENQ traditionally don't do one for August. Instead they publish H1 figures in the first week of September. The most recent were Thursday 5/9/19 and Thursday 3/9/20. Not too difficult to work out what is happening this coming Thursday.

240 days of the year gone and oil averaging $67/barrel so far. Lower production but within that loss of production is most of the high opex stuff. $32/barrel cash flow break even last year. I believe that will be down again. Possibly as low as $25/barrel with falling debt figure. Over £1 billion net debt at start 2020 and currently around £750 million ? 1st half results likely within a few trading days. Think they could surprise on the upside if they maintained 46,000 boepd recorded for first 4 month for the whole of first half. Earlier I suggested 1st half profit of around £100 million. There may be write backs because of higher oil prices because there were write downs in previous years for lower oil prices. I shall ignore that though. at 46,000 boepd and £12 profit/boe (doable) and 181 days it gives. £99.912 million profit. Free cash flow being more than double that. imho dyor

I just had a read of the Barc upgrade note from July. Target price 33p and saying it's cheap on a FCF basis. Estimating 2022 and 2023 approx $500m FCF per annum at $60/boe. Trading on a PE of less than 2 based on EPS estimate of 21c next year. If oil were to avg $70, that would increase FCF by 30%. They conclude that a small, leverage play on price of oil is out of fashion, it is super cheap. If oil remains around these levels I can see them upgrading again in the coming months.

In my opinion the reserves and production future for Enquest is secured by the reported 260 million barrels moveable oil remaining in Magnus. £100 million invested for 10 new production wells with production facilities already in place could up production by 10,000 to 20,000 boepd. Then announcing another £100 million/ annum for a dividend should secure the share price at 50p/share with the dividend yielding nearly 10%/annum on investment. This is sustainable at $50/barrel imho.

No problem. Agree progress is needed with the acquired fields to offset declines and move us forward. Bentley is interesting, I remember losing a gamblers size position in Xcite Energy but can’t recall how far they got with any development activity, if at all.

Apologies for the rant. Yes the cash flow should look good and no doubt debt will be down. I am interested to see where the capex and output forecast seem to be taking us. Not much point in paying down all the debt including the bonds if in 2-3 years there is a steady decline. So good news on Golden Eagle, Bressay and Bentley will indicate if the company has a long term future, which is needed to secure a strong share price. Debt repayment and high poo are not enough on their own, imo.

Thanks grahamg8, not been completely under a rock and fully aware of the $65 Brent average condition. The point is that means the company cash flow over that same period will be good, I’m not clever enough to work out just how good but the economic date of Golden eagle was 1 Jan with $5 per barrel operating costs, not too shabby:-) I guess we’ll find out next Thursday so not long to wait.

At 12m high. Need to crack 30p!! Hopefully production, debt and hedging numbers are good next week and it gives this strong momentum.
