stansmith3: you brought this on yourself yesterday with your out of the blue attack because you thought enq was going to rise todaynow you look like pillock i told everyone you were - good joband the longer you keep the gaslighter avatar off here the more it looks like he is hiding on a falling share price after his bsi suspect he will get another tip soon from a concerned poster and post - lololololololso funny - you are a total fruitcake and are ruining this board
stansmith3: feb 2017brent 55, enq 47pjan 2021brent 55, enq 13pthis lays bare what a disaster this share has been, the only thing going up is the share countpromoted all the way by our multi avatar posters onedb1/whites123 and master rsi (gaslighter) / maturoa pop in oil prices following extreme manipulation is just that
maturo: EnQuest still has very high debt levels but could recover as oil prices rise - speculative buy Share Prophets - Gary Newman | Friday 8 January 2021 - EnQuest (ENQ) is a company that I have followed for a long time and have previously been invested in myself, but over the past few years its shares have performed terribly and has never really recovered from the previous oil price slump, which bottomed out in 2016.... more need to subscribe HTTps://
stupmy: I've been taking a closer look at the 1 day chart for ENQ. Price closed at 13.16. That's a point of intersection for 3 possible tl's (similar, but based on different start dates or on closing price vs price extremes). Each of the tl's looks potentially valid. One of the TL's drawn from closing price on Thu Aug 6th to the closing price today with a touch also (closing price)on Wed Nov 25th, seems to make a cup n handle pattern (could also be viewed as a triangle formation). If it is, and if price closes above 13.16, then the target very slightly exceeds the gap that closes at around 18p. Maybe it's confirmation bias, but I think we're about to be rewarded richly.
stupmy: Trying again to break the 53 level. ENQ perked up nicely with POO. Any further rises from here look likely to push the ENQ share price up to close that gap to just above 18. Gap closures often don't act as resistance so I look for resistances around the level of the gap closure to get an idea of what might start some selling. On the weekly chart there is a previous support around 18p (that makes 18p a possible trigger for selling). After that level, there is a possibility that 23.5ish might act as a trigger for selling (weekly chart again). The daily chart has the gap closure at about 18, but the resistance from the weekly at 18 looks more like 17.5 on the daily. The daily chart also has a 2nd gap to around 19.5 and that coincides with a resistance. Bit of a mess, but I will be paying close attention to price action from 17.5p onwards.
onedb1: Very weird day . Oil down yet substantially higher than when we touched 16.5 and Enquest takes a big dive . Seems like if oil goes up to 52 it's irrelevant to Enquest if it goes to 49 the world is about to end ... all for 1 day of oil price action Vs weeks of increasing oil price.
nash81: oil price too low to sustain. where the bottom here for ENQ share price ? 6p ?
bomfin: It`s a shame if you are in this at higher prices which is quite likely if you look at the historicaL share price graph. I like the company hence posting a few thoughts here. I thought it was spun off at a fair price when it started. I could see it doubling then. They have managed additional production in old fields very well. They don`t really explore but they will buy in on others finds. A perfectly decent business model but! Oil price is stuck. Can`t see how it will ever get back to the 80$ a barrle when they would be paying off debt in a few years and flying. Can`t see it. If it happened there is easy money to make here with Enquest. Good luck to holders.
stansmith3: i am here frequently, share price up or downunlike you, who disappeared after your ridiculous share price predictions made you look like a moronoh hang, sorry, you sold at the toplol
stupmy: 2h chart suggests descending TL resistance around 17. But that's part way through a large gap in the data which would close around 18. There are further gaps above that. Starting from June 10th, 2h chart shows a cup n handle formation that has activated. Logical target for that (Bulkowski suggest as price it will hit or exceed 50% of the time) would be 17p area. Bullish for the moment, as long as POO continues to rise or even stay roughly where it is with Brent at 42+, then ENQ share price should rise to 17/18 minimum. Unfortunatley the wider market worries based around states pumping money into their economies (accelerated by COVID crisis) despite attempting to withdraw fiscal stimulus earlier in the year could scupper any party at any time so perhaps not the time to be too 'to infinity and beyond' on any stock, index or derivative.
