Marwyn up 10% and Ennstone up 14% today.
Perhaps a deal is about to be concluded,
with Marwyn buying the profitable parts of Ennstone.

VATTETON - Lets try enjoy the festive period and hopefully come back to see ENN attempt the survival plan. Basically they do have a good vehicle with demand for work which will always be there, but unfortunately they find themselves heavily in debt. Restructuring is definately the buzz word for them at this present time but will they be allowed to carry this out.

Happy Christmas folks and do not drink to much either.

We all know the basic fundamentals of what, or should not have been done, everybody is so good at, ( and i include myself )in the running of Ennstone.
I sincerly believe that if a successful, sensible restructure can be put forword then we will prosper, but it will take time, the problem there is, no matter how much money you have , you can't buy time.

phil . if its any consolation , I am with you , but from a far higher level and a far bigger stake , If you want to organise a party with the chairman and the cfo down a dark alley , would be happy to bring the baseball bats.

As far as I am concerned ,this has been a scam operation all the way through , regardless of the economic climate this was badly handled.

No more to add other than wait and see what the next few months bring .

Feliz ano in the Costa

ENN

* Believes that the shortfall in funding required to provide sufficient
working capital for at least the next twelve months is estimated to be
approximately 50 million pounds to 60 million

* Are unable to confirm at this stage what form any renegotiated banking facilities may take.

It is noteworthy that Guinness Peat Group (GPG) has held its 9.3% stake.
They are very shrewd guys, who would be very happy to run Ennstone.
Perhaps GPG plan to make a bid for the whole or buy it from the receiver.

It's hard to imagine that Ennstone is worth almost nothing.
