20/1/2006 08:04 | I've got a few of these - great yield play. It's always been an enigmatic stock. It was meant to die years ago but never did.... | pippin
08/10/2005 14:56 | Interesting stock, this one. Anyone else been looking at it? | pippin
23/5/2002 17:42 | Yes, it would only have to multiply by 86 times to break even. | 13thfloor
23/5/2002 08:20 | Hmmm - this looks tempting with such a small spread...... | eyesclosed
05/3/2002 09:48 | If I am understanding the notice you get twice a year, the stock we have bought is not simply a share as others in the market. It looks to me as if we have 10 more years to the lifes end of the field, OR! Ex number of barrels extracted before that time. At the end of all this your share will be worth 10% of what you bought it at. By that time, the dividends you have received should tot up to much more than the amount invested. I have probably got it all wrong, so please don't take my views as gospel. KENF | kenf
05/7/2001 09:39 | LASMO PLC were recently taken over by Agip for around £2.00 per share so hopefully Mr Badger hung on and recovered his money. LASMO OPS I believe are oil production stocks. I think these were issued to raise the capital to develop one of the North sea fields (sorry can't remember which one). | spurs_pb
05/7/2001 00:48 | thinking the same. What is their website address - is it lasmo.com - but this seems to be a different company to lasmo opsus??? | dave46
04/7/2001 13:24 | I'm not sure you would have been able to buy at 25/26. If you look at the intraday charts the price went down to this level after 4.30, and was then up again when the market opened the following morning. You can also see that there have been very few shares traded so the MM's would be unlikely to accept your price. I'm not sure what's going on, but I suspect that the share isn't actually being actively traded at the moment. | cantab
03/7/2001 15:46 | weird if this goes down again to 25/26 is it worth having a dabble three times this as gone down and then back up i nearly bought in yesterday but chickened out | shifter
03/7/2001 09:09 | Strange as no trades are recorded, and yet the 62% rise | islam
03/7/2001 08:44 | Is LSMO Opsus the same as the old Lasmo that spent years in takeover talks with Enterprise Oil? Or is it a totally different company. I appreciate some merger or takeover must have occured for the Opsus bit to appear. And how come this share keeps appearing in the biggest gainers list? 62% in one day today 3/7/01 what is occuring? Thanks for any info. | spracklin
21/9/2000 13:23 | If you have hung on that long I definitely would not give up now. IMHO I think we hit bottom around 90p its hard to see a reverse in fortunes at this stage. Having said that we could always have a meltdown. | mikel
20/9/2000 21:54 | I have had Lasmo for ages and keep hoping I will recover my losses,I paid £1.95 per share any views would be appreciated. | mr badger |
