30/9/2010 20:42 | IQE may add to today's acqusition??? | thrgef
30/9/2010 16:10 | Many Thanks, agree it is an interesting one, as battle and I have discussed before could easily triple.. | chrisdgb
30/9/2010 15:51 | Intriguing comment which you don't usually find in a results statement! The results - and particularly the outlook - were better than I expected too. The obvious quoted LED peers are CAR (which I hold) and DIA (which I unfortunately don't and should have done - too late now). I'm sure there are many others, both unquoted and overseas. | rivaldo
30/9/2010 15:16 | thinking caps on for which company they could become part of.. | chrisdgb
30/9/2010 14:49 | orders up 24%, massively operationally geared now, another Asian Games type order and the corner is turned.... interesting they do not comment, that we will try to find that larger operation, does that mean they already know..?? might top up as insurance.. | chrisdgb
30/9/2010 14:46 | Overall encouraging and not as bad as I was expecting | thrgef
30/9/2010 14:46 | Yes......thats whats stood out for me. Acquisition target... "The Board shares the view of a number of the Group's major shareholders that the Group and its customers, employees and suppliers would benefit from it being part of a larger operation. The Group continues to work closely with its key customers and sales prospects, both directly and through its value added resellers, with a view to further improving order intake which is up 24% year on year to the end of August. The Directors expect a further improvement in the gross margin as current product development initiatives lead to both a reduction in LED array manufacturing costs and an increasingly cost-effective flexibility in providing customised LED array solutions." | thrgef
30/9/2010 14:37 | Interims out and in line....massive increase in sales in H2...also check this in the outlook....the Board shares the view it would benefit from being part of a larger operation.... takeover/merger....? | chrisdgb
21/9/2010 08:23 | If they narrow the spread we'll have some buying! DC | daicaprice
21/9/2010 08:20 | we have now entered the realms of the ridiculous..I am going to try to top up.. | chrisdgb
21/9/2010 08:20 | we have now entered the realms of the ridiculous..I am going to try to top up.. | chrisdgb
20/9/2010 10:28 | now virtually lower than before the major contract win.....everybody just guessing until the results...come on management, let us have some positive progress here... | chrisdgb
14/9/2010 13:54 | I was told that after the last contract win was announced that results would be released 'shortly'..... I agree with your frustrations on the spread, that is why I have made it clear we need another marketmaker.. | chrisdgb
14/9/2010 13:48 | Sorry, double post. DC | daicaprice
14/9/2010 13:48 | Just tried to buy 10k @ 13p and was told 15p! With that spread (8-15p) we'd need 50% rise to break even. They don't appear to want buyers. DC | daicaprice
14/9/2010 13:21 | When are results due, early Aug last year, have they changed there reporting dates. Cheers, | beeezzz
14/9/2010 12:53 | Depressed once more...has anyone else tried contacting the company..?? | chrisdgb
14/9/2010 12:31 | Very disappointing to see all the gains gone, need results now to give clear direction.. | chrisdgb
13/9/2010 15:16 | Yeah it's plain ridiculous at the minute but that could all change very quickly. | battlebus
13/9/2010 10:27 | Just to show how CHEAP these shares are, story in the FT today of IPO in ProPhotonix which is LED engines, sales of just over £1m so similar to Enfis....anticipated market cap £18m... Enfis market cap £2m.... Says it all.. | chrisdgb
10/9/2010 14:06 | Hope not, I've just invested for the first time having been watching for years | shavian
09/9/2010 19:09 | Thanks Pugugly it's always interesting to hear a differing view as you can become blinkered. As Chrisdgb says there are definitely challenges and the results will not be exciting but any sign of recovery and a significantly lower rate of cash burn will see the shares rocket. It is a risk but one i think will pay off as the market seem to have priced this to go bust. | battlebus
09/9/2010 09:12 | There are clearly challenges but a minimal market cap and the calibre of the incoming management make me very comfortable..the recent contract highlights the potential..valuable tax losses as well.. | chrisdgb
09/9/2010 08:36 | battlebus;> Sorry about the predictions - I am not always right but try to post it as I see it [maybe I am on the glass half full side as unable to hold a glass having lost too many fingers trying to catch falling knives!!!] In respect of Enfis I was very interested at IPO stage but conversatiosn with the then managment made me feel uneasy so I did not invest. Have however kept on the watch list as energy efficiency is one of the few growth industries but I am uncertain if the new managemtn will be able to dig themselves out of the difficulties they have inherited. If I was sure they could I would buy - still very much on watch however. | pugugly
09/9/2010 08:14 | Up and down and up again! Pugugly are you the grim reaper of the share world as you seem to have predicted disaster in several of the shares i'm invested in. LOL think we are about evens so far. Do you hold these? | battlebus |
