26/2/2015 11:10 | Good summary 'greasy'. I have been watching this for a while now awaiting a pull back/buying opportunity. If there ever was one, this is it. The price drop was nothing but Manipulation - that flurry was suspect activity to drive the share price down. I don't think we will have to wait too long for another update - I suspect there is already someone in the pipeline for the purchase. I just hope the Board agree the right condition of sale that not only rewards their handwork and efforts over the last few years but holders like you and I alike. Good luck and I watch this space. | 5oletrader
26/2/2015 10:39 | My guess is that PG is looking to exit his substantial holding and knows how illiquid this stock is and so pushed for a trade sale to be looked at. If that is the case it just seems a bit early with the US stuff in the pipeline and being agreed it would surely be better to get that proven up first and maybe attract a bid from there as well. 26/2/2015 10:02 | The annual results in May last year stated their desire for for a 'strategic partnership' so now looking for a formal sale is not unexpected. I wonder if there is an interested party lined up. There has been a steady stream of tiny sales this morning so it looks as though someone is trying to manipulate the price downwards. However, 52% is held by named individuals (17% directors) so I can't really see the point at this moment. (ie - it is not ideally set up to screw the nameless small shareholders). Since they state that 'the Board has taken this decision in order to seek to unlock and crystallise value for shareholders', I assume that some of the larger shareholders are looking for an exit that they could not achieve on the market. On that basis, I will hold on for the time being. Unfortunately, I have no insight into what this company would be worth to a trade buyer. | greasynut
26/2/2015 09:58 | I have no idea but it may be that investors are nervous that company will be sold cheap but it is normal to be bought over at a premium price based on future earnings. .. last results were positive so this should be the case here too | johnthespacer
26/2/2015 09:30 | Anybody any thoughts on this? Bit surprised at the share price action today following the price weakness of the last few weeks. | shanklin
26/2/2015 07:55 | Well e/v is around todays price so i'd expect a premium to that by how much depends on the potential buyer but i'm happy to wait and see. | battlebus2
26/2/2015 07:47 | What price battlebus2? | wywcu1
26/2/2015 07:44 | I said a post or two back i was waiting for the sale of the co well we are now on the market :)) | battlebus2
07/2/2015 07:52 | I just think readers of Paul's commentary need to be highly aware of whether or not he is holding the shares he is commenting upon. Inevitably we would all tend to write more positively in updates relating to shares we hold. ETQ currently has a Stockopedia stock rating of 91/100 so on that objective measure, it probably did not deserve to be trashed. This contrasts with (say) TUNG, about which Paul is far more positive, which has a stock rating of 9. | shanklin
06/2/2015 14:02 | Agreed Shanklin. I'm not sure he factored in the fact that this thing is back end loaded results wise. Looks pretty decent value now, particularly as it accelerates overseas with new partners. Main problem is it just doesn't engage with the City. | geraldton1
06/2/2015 13:37 | Down 20%+ on some bizarre commentary from Paulypilot. | shanklin
02/2/2015 13:57 | thanks for the reply | woodie3
02/2/2015 13:30 | Slight tail off in growth though it's still at a level most co's would give their right arm for but i'm not selling as the main point is the sale of the company to a bigger player at a much higher price. | battlebus2
02/2/2015 12:01 | OK I thought but growth levelled off. Done about £2.7m revenue last 3 quarters and a minor caveat in the update re last 3 months. I sold out today early doors, mainly because the mark-up looked odd. Still looks OK value to me but the illiquidity is so scary here. | eezymunny
02/2/2015 11:54 | Perhaps because of some pretty unhelpful comments from Paulypilot... | shanklin
02/2/2015 11:52 | why are there sellers? | woodie3
02/2/2015 07:40 | Another great update :)) | battlebus2
02/1/2015 09:23 | Doesn't take much to move this. It still looks the wrong price - I think something nearer to 500p would be fairer. No stock around. | geraldton1
02/1/2015 09:10 | A good opening to the new year :)) | battlebus2
18/12/2014 19:35 | The big spread is enough to put off most traders here, well done on your top up davidosh, i'd looked several times into adding but just let it pass me buy anyway well into profit on my first couple of trades around £1 mark. Shanklin well done on your CRAW i've sold all mine except for 10k's worth with an eye to get back in once the new store openings begin to roll out, maybe not one of my best decisions. | battlebus2
18/12/2014 19:34 | Nice news today and a bit of milestone for the company. Very happy to be holding here. So under the radar too which always bodes well. | smudgeroo
18/12/2014 15:41 | Yes very illiquid and I am so pleased that I filled up when they dipped below £3. Patience needed with this one and certainly not for traders. | davidosh
18/12/2014 11:46 | This looks to be a very interesting deal and should be pretty earnings accretive for minimal risk. I am pretty sure these guys are back end loaded so you can easily see them doing EPS of 35-40p for the year (interims showed strong order book/pipeline). Balance sheet is strong and an update should be due in early Feb. Hard to trade it though....so illiquid! | geraldton1
18/12/2014 10:29 | bb2, Yes, why wasn't I buying more earlier? Over-excited by CRAW's RNS I think. Glad I added to my initial buy when it dipped down even if my average buy-price is still just above 350 :-( | shanklin |
