27/1/2015 12:41 | The bid-buy price for EAS has always been erratic and irrational to say the least. Sadly the MM's can control the price on a day to day basis which is frustrating, but medium-longer term, the value and quality of the company cannot be stunted by their games, hence the long term uptrend. | neilgbudd
27/1/2015 10:49 | Yes, but it mucks up my portfolio valuation by undervaluing the company, posting bid prices that bear no relationship to the trades. | gbb483
27/1/2015 09:47 | gbb - it's probably MMs tree shaking I wouldn't worry about short term movements, the underlying story here is sound | cisk
27/1/2015 09:19 | There have been 5 trades today, all listed as buys, with the trade price increasing, the offer price increasing, yet the bid price is falling through the floor. The trading prices on this stock never make sense. | gbb483
22/1/2015 10:08 | Good to see the positive uptrend chart pattern still very much intact; Big rise followed by a modest fall, repeated. Now we've suffered the 'modest fall', the trend suggests a good rise past its previous high. Here hoping to the trend is your friend... | neilgbudd
22/1/2015 08:30 | Creeping up to my stupid buy in price, not that I should concern myself too much as I will hold on this one anyway ... | tradermel
21/1/2015 17:28 | Good news. Although it won't affect sales in the current year, I quite like it when news like this does not move the share price - it just shows how much EAS is flying under the radar. | gargleblaster
21/1/2015 07:36 | The bit I particularly like: "...the success of this pilot project should present multiple opportunities for further projects of this kind within the social housing, local authority and heat with rent sectors, generating future revenue potential for the Group." | neilgbudd
21/1/2015 07:27 | Good new contract announced, particularly as it involves the use of EAS' proprietory technology: Extract: "the success of this pilot project should present multiple opportunities for further projects of this kind within the social housing, local authority and heat with rent sectors, generating future revenue potential for the Group. Phil Bellamy-Lee, Chief Executive of Energy Assets, commented: "We are delighted to have worked with CityWest Homes to shape this innovative project over the last twelve months and look forward to bringing the benefits to its residents. Projects of this kind, developed and implemented by Energy Assets, can ultimately create a platform to deliver load balancing and deferment opportunities to network owners, with storage heating being one of the largest deferrable loads available in the UK. Energy Assets is dedicated to developing innovative technology which will provide benefit to the UK energy market and we are committed to providing solutions which can tackle relevant market issues and help keep the lights on."" | rivaldo
20/1/2015 09:54 | Kames Capital have now increased their stake to above 4% and 1.135m shares, buying another 134,000 shares: | rivaldo
16/1/2015 07:28 | Cheers gb, sounds good. And encouraging to see a manager in EAS buying stock too on a minor scale yesterday: | rivaldo
15/1/2015 01:26 | Shs mag gives perspective Energy Assets (EAS) 421p Gain to date: 20.3% Previous Shares view: Buy at 400.13, 23 Oct 2014 Energy Assets’ deal to install advanced meters for around 50% of British Gas’ industrial and commercial gas customers has had a slow start, according to a trading update this week. Shares in the Livingstone, Scotland-based outfit leapt around 25% last summer when the deal was announced, so a minor sell-off on this most recent news is probably fair. The full installation is now not expected to kick off until the first quarter of its next financial year, which is the three months running March to June. Analysts at house broker Numis remain largely unperturbed, though they reduce their earnings per share forecasts for the full year to 28.3p from 29.3p. ‘While the previously highlighted delays to the [British Gas contract] continue, and lead us to edge back our forecasts, we believe the broad, highly visible asset base and the medium term growth opportunities remain attractive.’ Shares trade a shade more than 20% higher since the original Shares article last May, a period when the FTSE All-Share fell 3%. They are also around 5% higher than our last update in October. The recent update and minor sell-off does little to change Energy Assets’ attractive long term prospects. (WC) | gargleblaster
14/1/2015 12:46 | The share price is now only about 8% above the price when they were awarded the BG contract - despite all the good news since then. Anyone would think they had lost the BG contract. Institutions piling in! | gargleblaster
14/1/2015 11:47 | It's a good vote of confidence rivaldo! Indeed, bought back in a small amount. | bhavini4
14/1/2015 11:21 | Oakcliff Capital have been buying up a load of stock per the RNS's just out - they've gone from just below 3% (811,000 shares) to now over 5% (almost 1.4m).... | rivaldo
14/1/2015 08:00 | Fair enough tradermel; whatever works for you! Regards | bhavini4
13/1/2015 17:56 | bhavini4 13 Jan'15 - 08:31 - 269 of 275 0 0 tradermel; hope you don't mind me saying, but i've learned the hard way that a lot of the time, buying early on (in the first half an hour-an hour) of the opening ............... I successfully trade on news buying at the bell selling within the first hour and do very well on that tactic. On this occasion I felt a buy and hold in an ISA would be far better, so your advice would have been a far wiser idea. So yes I agree with you. However my research leads me to believe that by holding my buy will come good, just not at the best entry price, which obviously is not so desirable. | tradermel
13/1/2015 15:12 | IC retain their buy recommendation and hopefully will do a write up later. | gargleblaster
13/1/2015 12:28 | Very very short video highlighting this morning buy of EAS DYOR @aceofwaste | wasteman2004
13/1/2015 11:34 | Numis have reiterated their Buy and 530p target price: | rivaldo
13/1/2015 09:34 | SP already heading back up - PI's stepping in at these levels. | gargleblaster
13/1/2015 09:13 | I very much doubt if the analysts had factored much if anything into this year for the B.Gas contract - it was always going to contribute in earnest to the next financial year anyway. This is an opportunity to gather stock imo. I doubt that the share price will stay at this level for long - today's fall is more a reflection of EAS' volatility/illiquidi | rivaldo
13/1/2015 08:37 | Trader - don't be hard on yourself - the market makers also initially thought it was an overall positive statement. I was surprised that I was able to take a little off the table on the bell at 460/453 but still hold the majority of my investment here. I sold for the same reasons as bhavini4 and hope to buy back cheaper - just a short term opportunist trade of part of my investment. GL - SJ | sailing john
13/1/2015 08:31 | tradermel; hope you don't mind me saying, but i've learned the hard way that a lot of the time, buying early on (in the first half an hour-an hour) of the opening, can result in not getting a very good price, as the market hasn't settled yet and often the price begins to drop. Yes that sometimes means you might miss a few pence here or there if the price keeps going up, but more often than not I've observed prices usually come down as the buzz evaporates and some people bank profits. Just some advice :) | bhavini4
13/1/2015 08:31 | So the British Gas installs wont be to April is that correct?: year end march? Thanks, | johnthespacer |
