PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) - Gas and electricity supplier Engie announced Thursday the acquisition of the entire shares of Sameole, an independent developer of wind projects in France, and its portfolio of nearly 500 megawatts (MW) onshore wind projects under development. The group did not report the amount of the transaction.

Founded in 2005, Sameole has developed a portfolio of wind projects in seven regions, mainly in northwestern and southwestern France, Engie said in a statement.

"By cumulating organic growth and external growth, the share of renewable energy in our energy mix now reaches nearly 70%," said Engie France Renouvelables CEO, Gwénaëlle Huet, quoted in the statement.

Engie is the leader in the onshore wind energy market with 1,900 MW of capacity installed in France. The group aims to develop 3 gigawatts (GW) wind turbines and 2.2 GW solar by 2021.

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) - The manufacturer of cryogenic membranes for the transport of liquefied natural gas Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) took the lead of the SBF 120 on Thursday after the announcement of a new order and an increase of recommendation of Portzamparc. With two new LNG carriers to equip at SHI's shipyard in Korea, the group has already registered 32 orders this year, and could reap more by December, while expecting a long-term goal of about 30 orders a year, underlines Nicolas Royot, at Portzamparc. Noting that the stock has lost 11% since September 19, when he had gone to "lighten", the analyst notes his advice to "keep" with a target price of 62.1 euros. The title takes 5.3%, to 63.9 euros. The Engie group has proposed to EDF to sell its fleet of seven nuclear reactors in Belgium, according to information published by the Chained Duck Wednesday.

This proposal was made by the general director of Engie Isabelle Kocher during a "head-to-head" with the CEO of EDF Jean-Bernard Levy, according to the weekly. According to Chained Duck, Engie also proposed to take a 49% stake in the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône (CNR), its hydroelectricity subsidiary.

Engie was not reachable Wednesday morning to react to his information, but the company denied the weekly any willingness to sell its Belgian subsidiary Electrabel and CNR.

Sollicité, EDF did not wish to comment.

A reflection has been taking place for several years in the group headed by Mrs Kocher on the future of its Belgian subsidiary, which operates seven nuclear reactors, distributed in two plants, Doel and Tihange.

Last year, the CEO indicated that the group was studying the possibility of welcoming partners, particularly Belgian, to the capital of Electrabel.

Since then, the setbacks of the Belgian nuclear fleet have increased. Currently the majority of the seven reactors are shut down for longer term revisions, and according to the Belgian authorities, only one of them will operate in November.

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) - Engie's EBITDA (EBITDA) in 2018 is expected to be "slightly lower" than the range previously reported by the group due to new postponements of restarting nuclear units in Belgium said group financial director Judith Hartmann on Monday.

When publishing its half-year results, Engie expects an indicative Ebitda range of between € 9.3 billion and € 9.7 billion.

Engie had announced Friday that the restart of some nuclear units in Belgium had been postponed again to allow the repair of buildings, in non-nuclear areas, where degradations in concrete ceilings were detected. The electricity and gas supplier was also more cautious about its recurring net income, grouping it now "at the bottom" of the range of 2.45 billion to 2.65 billion euros previously announced .

The group warns since June, date of their initial announcement, that these delays in Belgium will weigh up to 250 million euros at the level of EBITDA and recurring net income group share in 2018.

Judith Hartmann, however, stressed that "no risk weighs" on the group's objective of net debt / Ebitda ratio. Engie expects this ratio to be less than or equal to 2.5 times in 2018. It also stated that despite the headwinds related to Belgian nuclear power, the group's performance was broadly in line with expectations.

The financial director also refused to provide financial information for 2019, but said that she expected the financial situation of the group to be better next year, recalling that Belgian nuclear production should return to a new level. in 2019. The group expects the availability rate of Belgian nuclear power plants to reach 74% in 2019, compared with 52% in 2018.

Around 9:20, the Engie share lost 0.4% to 12.58 euros.
